It's A Long Way To Mukumbura - Rhodesian Bush War, 1977

Музыка

It's a long way to Mukumbura, is Rhodesian patriotic song set to the melody of the WW1 British song, It's a long way to Tipperary. However the Rhodesian's gave the song a Rock and roll facelift. And added some of their own uniquely Rhodesian style to it. This version was written and performed by Mike Wescott and Leprechaun. If you enjoy the video please like and susbscribe it really helps the channel, and It's good to know that my work is appreciated.

@@antoiner.5770 I think this is Serbian Cyrillic, or perhaps North Macedonian Cyrillic. I say that because it is the most phonetically consistent and I see a 'j' which is unique to those versions. This type of cyrillic is so phonetic you can actually express English reasonably well once you know which sound each letter makes. My Serbian friend and I used to use this 'English Cyrillic' to communicate as a joke, took me less than a day to understand the alphabet, ofc once they start using actual words in their language my pronunciation plummets. Until now I never experienced it unexpectedly, I always try to read Cyrillic, by third word I went from "That seems an odd way to start a Serbian sentence" to "Holy crap that's English!".
