Billie’s fan base is EXTREMELY diverse. Many ages, shapes, sizes and colors. So no I’m not surprised that you’re a fan. I’m an older fella just like you, and I’m a super fan. I’ve seen her live twice and I’m seeing her a third time in November for the new tour.

That's always the sign of a great artist imo - when they appeal to a broad audience. Especially different age groups too. Have fun in November! 🤘

There will inevitably come a day when they make an album without one another. But until then, let's make the most of it!

Finneas has a home studio in his own house now. That’s where they’ve been recording for like the past 3 to 4 years now. If you’re interested, there’s a new interview with Billie and Finneas about the new album. It’s the Zane Lowe Apple Music interview. It’s like 2 hours long too. Filmed in finneas’s studio.

Super nice reaction video! I appreciate your love for the details :) As a recommendation for non-famous artists, check out "Home" by LAST LAUGH. and "I Want Less Of You" by Karoline Kaminski, you might like it! It's funny, but I often prefer reaction videos of Metalfans, don't know why.

I love this! I think Billie Eilish is doing some really Kool stuff. She is very refreshing in a scene that is very copy paste. She is soooo good! Fun fact: well fun fact/ unsolicited push to get you to do Knocked Loose. Knocked Loose played Coachella last year. Yes Knocked Loose at Coachella the biggest annual gathering of molly and normies. AND THEY KILLED IT! so much so that Billie Eilish was on the side of the stage headbanging.

It's a great tune. The more I listen to it, the more I like it and spot other things I hadn't heard before. Completely agree that her and Finneas are a breath of fresh air in the 'pop' scene. Aside from your Knocked Loose bombardment 😜 I have coincidentally seen their name randomly pop up here and there of late. The internet is clearly listening to you and trying to entice me, so much so that I did a quick scan of their Wikipedia yesterday for some research 😁 Rest assured, they are on my list 👍

😅@@melvinthinks yeah for sure her production and style is great. I don't mind pop but it's like metal it's so easy to tell who is pandering and who is for real. I held out sooooooo long on Knocked Loose then once you try them the best song you hear is the last song you listen to. "You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To" that came out a few weeks ago. Album of 2024. Already framed vinyl on my wall 😂 I'm waiting to see them live but all I've heard is best and most intense live show. Very much looking forward to putting that to the test. They got the Billie Eilish stamp of approval 👍 I've been trying to hold off bombarding you with requests since you given me a peak behind the curtain. Obviously not doing great but I am trying 😂

Not sure why this comment got 'held for review' but only just seen this reply. Just keep the requests coming dude. I'll always be playing catch up with my reaction to do list tbh! Even if I was doing this full time, there's always another band/song/discovery. Especially as the channel grows, it naturally means I get more requests. And even when I discover a band that I really like, then it inevitably opens up the rabbit hole! Plus, I like making other random videos from time to time too so I'm my own worse enemy, really! Knocked Loose is pretty high on my list tbh - "Suffocate" was the track I'm planning atm. I'd expect something for this band next month for sure.

@@melvinthinks for sure. Plus as you do new artists people will kindly tell you how that artists means you need to do XYZ artist because they feature on a song or toured together etc etc. Like here I turned a Billie Eilish conversation into a Knocked Loose conversation which can turn into a Motionless in White conversation which can turn into this band conversation which can turn into a this band and so on and so on until the end of time. That's the beauty of music isn't it though? It all makes us feel things and is one big community.

Please check out Imminence. From Sweden and singer plays violin while singing and screaming. These are four songs that are on the storyline and our visualizers by themselves. They are amazing songs so if you feel free pick one or if you want more pick all of them….. 1. “Beyond the Pale” 2. “The Call of the Void” 3. “Come What May” 4. “The Black”

Yeah - I've heard Alex Terrible covering Bad Guy. It was alright. I'm not a huge fan of doing covers on this channel tbh - it's rare that I pick them over a band or artists original material. Especially if I'm reacting to a new band, for example, I want to hear their own song so that I can judge whether I want to listen to more of them. I can't really form an opinion based upon someone else's song, if you get what I mean.

@@melvinthinks Some covers are so different from the original that it is amazing. I think it's a true art, to make something that is so clearly and obviously related to a specific musical piece, yet altering it so much that it is a unique piece by itself. Usually covers just add some guitars or play in a different style, put a little ornament here and there... that is why a proper covers are rather scarce. While this is an obvious one, I'd put Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence as a prime example of threading that needle. Just because I'm not sure - Alex Terrible is from Slaughter to prevail, right?

  • @melvinthinks

You are right - some of the covers I have done on this channel have generally been very transformative, so much so that it makes the original song almost unrecognisable. But I'll always gravitate towards an original for a new band because I also want to know what they are like as songwriters/composers/lyricists etc. And yes - Alex Terrible from Slaughter To Prevail. I've got "Demolisher" dropping on Monday 😁

@@melvinthinks "But I'll always gravitate towards an original for a new band because I also want to know what they are like" - well making a cover is, in many ways, that. If you know of At Vance, for example, you would see their clear signature sound in their ABBA covers (which suprecede the originals by far) eventhough it is not super transformative. Just for examples - kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6OZuJt_l66rpLA.html (Money Money Money) or kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqSkyrKMYLaycbg.html (The Winner Takes It All). In contrast, Atrocity made covers that are much more transformative, and you will, again, clearly feel their signature sound and vibe. For example kzread.info/dash/bejne/X3qg1KWRdaq1law.html (Smalltown boy) or kzread.info/dash/bejne/eWeqyNGKk9vAoNI.html (Fade to Grey).
