Isuzu NPR rear brake shoe removal

Snap on tool part number is bst12g.
I have a habit of referring to pads as shoes vise versa. This is a diy brake shoe removal.

How could a driver inspect the shoe thickness and cracking and roter bluing? Any opinion?

Can't.. you can inspect the thickness through rubber plugs in the back of the drum.

@@dirtcargirl00 I figured it out.. it's not too hard. Put one spring onto both shoes, position them over the hub and hook the other spring onto both shoes, pry them into place with a pry bar one side at a time then once they're in place put your hold down pins in.
