Today I will take you with me to try the most incredible street food in Turkey! We will meet the kebab king of Turkey here in Istanbul and try the most incredible street food in the city.
The first stop of our street food tour in Istanbul is KASTAMONU SULTAN LOKANTASI (Ayvansaray, Mahkeme Altı Cd. No:23, 34087 Fatih/İstanbul) to try Turkish Black Sea cuisine for the first time. They serve incredible liver kebab, delicious dolma, and lots of more amazing food. Absolutely one of my favourite lokantasi I've been to in Turkey!
To continue our street food tour in Istanbul, we stopped at one of the oldest bakeries in the city, TAS FIRIN SIMITCI( Balat, 34087 Fatih/İstanbul). They have a very old oven, and because of that, I was so excited to try their food. They serve incredible pastries, and locals love it.
For lunch we went to KEBAPCI KADIR (Atikali, Çarşamba Değirmeni Sk. 9A, 34093 Fatih/İstanbul) to meet the kebab king of Turkey. They use high-quality meat and, because of that, their food is incredible. The chef is very passionate and talented. Absolutely the most incredible kebabs in Turkey!
Moving on with our street food tour in Istanbul, we stumbled upon a Tuesday traditional market (Ayvansaray, Lavanta Sk., 34087 Fatih/İstanbul) where they sell lots of food, fresh produce, spices, and more. Walking around the market is one of my favourite things to do here in Turkey!
To end this incredible street food tour in Istanbul, we went to MARE ROSSO COFFEE (Ayvansaray, Leblebiciler Sk. No:40/b, 34087 Fatih/İstanbul) where they make incredible Italian style coffee, and they sell coffee from all over the world! Best Italian coffee I had in Turkey!

A "Lokanta" actually means a restaurant. Turkey's traditional dishes are served in such places. The meals you see in that restaurant and much more are made at our home every day. In fact, they are standard meals for us. If you come to Turkey one day, make sure to dine with a Turkish family. They can offer you all the flavors that you cannot reach outside :)

Hello guys. Lokanta means restaurant and lokantası means restaurant of... So if the name of the restaurant is Istanbul lokantası that means restaurant of İstanbul ;) It's just 2nd grammatical case genitive. Nice videos by the way :)
