To start our crazy street food tour here in Turkey, we went to the biggest street market in Istanbul, Çarşamba Pazarı. ( Balat, Lokmacıdede Sk. No:28, 34087 Fatih/İstanbul ). They sell all the fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, clothes, street food and more. Everything they sell is from Turkey. They make this market every Wednesday.
The first food stop was at DEDE SULTAN to try their crazy delicious chicken doner kebab. (Ali Kuşçu, Feraizci Sk. No:4, 34083 Fatih/İstanbul)
Moving on to this crazy street food tour of Istanbul, I went to BN HALDUN KAHVESI to try their amazing Arabic coffee. (Ali Kuşçu, İslambol Cd. No:14, 34083 Fatih/İstanbul)
Before lunch, I stopped at ALRAII MUFTAK RESTAURANT to try their crazy delicious pizza style snacks. (Ali Kuşçu, Fatih Cd., 34083 Fatih/İstanbul )
As a sweet lover myself, I had to stop at the famous Modern Lübnan Fırınları to try and buy some of their fantastic biscuits and other delicacies. One of the best bakeries I've been to in Istanbul, Turkey so far. ( Ali Kuşçu, Fatih Cd. No:5, 34083 Fatih/İstanbul )
Walking around this crazy market, I bumped into a gentleman selling liver and I had to give it a try. It was absolutely flavourful, packed with spices, chilli and more.
To continue our crazy street food tour of Istanbul, Turkey, we went to meet the king of falafel himself at EBU ARAP FALAFEL. I had one of the best experiences ever. From the food, the hospitality, the vibes and the heartwarming story behind that wonderful man. The chef and owner feed hundreds of people in need every morning. GO AND VISIT HIM TO SUPPORT HIS MISSION (İskenderpaşa, Horhor Cd. No:20, 34080 Fatih/İstanbul)
We couldn't end this crazy street food tour of Istanbul, Turkey, without trying one of the best Kunafa in town at سوق الشام ( Ali Kuşçu, Fatih Cd. No:3, 34083 Fatih/İstanbul)
Hope you guys enjoyed the video, stay tuned for more street food tours in Istanbul and around Turkey.

@@AbroadandHungry I am serious about this. I've watched a lot of videos where tourists eat Turkish street delicacies, but no one looks at the side details of food like you. for example, ayran or turnip is drunk while eating kebab, meat is also put into yogurt sauce while eating iskender kebab, garlic sauce is poured while drinking tripe soup, green vegetables should be carefully put in while eating lahmacun. You pay attention to these, which is very nice, because they are complementary flavors. other tourists do not pay attention to this. You really know exactly how to eat a meal. Congratulations, you are a successful person.

M from Turkey but I ve been living in England for 9 years and I am so shocked about some shops you visited. Turkish street food tradition changed after Syrian refugees. I grown up in Istanbul and tried the falafel first time in London but can see now there are only falafel shops. Quite weird to watch it by my side

I was lucky enough to try the Knafeh from Tarbus, the salesman is very nice guy. there is another Knafeh shop opposite to it and right at the beginning behind the gate pillar, but I prefer Tarbus. There are 2 trays, one course and another one is fine knafeh, crunch vs smooth texture, so depending on your preference, you can decide. Thanks Max for the great content! I’m coming to Istanbul on 17th Dec, let me know if you will be still there and would like to dive with me on a food tour ;)

In the falafel shop there is a big sign on the wall behind the chef. It's in Arabic and it says, "If you don't have money the food is free." I enjoyed the video immensely and all your videos, but this made me a bit melancholic as it reminds me of the tragedy of the Syrian people. I hope things get better for them soon, and I salute Turkey for welcoming them. I hope to visit Turkey someday. I come from a country in North Africa which used to be part of the Ottoman Empire so a lot of the foods and sights of Turkey are familiar. Thanks again for another great video
