Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to discover the world one place at a time, while sharing the experiences through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

I’m from the US, I fell in love with Turkey when I first visited 10 years ago, went back almost every other year. I purchased a property in Izmir and met the love of my life and now I’m married to a Turkish man❤

Greatest city in the world
I've been learning Türkçe and once I have a fairly good hold on the language, I am going to travel in 2025. I love travelling like you do. No tourist guided tours. Just finding the real Istanbul and other cities and towns. Meeting the real people!!! Eating the real food etc!! Yes!!!

Hey man I just came across your channel and this vlog randomly, and instantly reminded me of my first trip to Istanbul back in February, and my last day of stay, I walked alone through all these places, the bazaar, blue mosque, Ayasofya Camii and the rest you showed in the video. For food I went to Usta Sahin Doner, just outside the bazaar towards Sultan Ahmet's, I paied 350-400TL including a glass of fresh Ayran. I will definitely check your other videos of Istanbul to see, as I'm already planning to go back in May! Keep up the great vide and contents! 🔥 You've just gained a new subscriber 😎

Great video man. Loved your vibe. I can forsee that you channel will grow much more. For a less touristy destination in istanbul I can suggest asian side of the city. Kadıköy can be prefered. It is still touristy but not as much as the european side.

Hey - do you recommend any kebab spots around Hagia Sophia?
The business owners are quite nice people!.
Cleaning in Turkey has a history dating back thousands of years. For example, the Hittites used to administer severe punishments, including execution, to cooks and their families if the kitchen was not clean or even if the cook had hair. Hand hygiene has also been considered extremely important. With Anatolia boasting a city life history spanning 12 thousand years, it's likely that people recognized the importance of cleanliness for various reasons.

Masallah, brother is deeply relaxed. This is the art of surviving in Istanbul. 🙂 But I would first compare the prices and tell the seller so so that he can give a good price first. 37:57 Good food doesn't need sauces. 😋Afiyet olsun.

Thanks for the sharing. For these exorbitant prices, if you share space like the others, we will weed them out. Please give information in your videos !..
Actually Turkish is kinda easy. I came to Türkiye 6 months ago and i can assure you that I can speak the daily streets of Turkish and live my life. It's a phonetic language so we pronounce it as we see it. But I liked your video. Keep it up.

Its cheaper if you go off the Grand Bazar its a little bit more affordable.

36:43 this guy is very funny and humoristic😄 Even though you don't speak Turkish, you look like you're having fun By the way, the cup you bought from the Grand Bazaar is handmade copper, so you bought it at the normal price, don't worry, you didn't get ripped off. I checked the prices online. Even on the internet it is around 600-700 TL. You may even think that you bought it cheaply because store rents in the Grand Bazaar are very high and sellers have to sell a little more expensive to make a profit

I am leaving to turkey tomorrow from US the weather in Istanbul is very mild in April mid 60s to low 70s for the next week so lightweight and breathable clothing suitable for mild temperatures, including long-sleeved shirts, trousers, and a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings , the temperature drops at nighttime’s and when you are close to the water

Me too, also going at the very end of April and staying for a week. I have been wondering the same thing. I will be taking light spring / summer type of attire, with a light jacket, cardigan and hoodie for evenings (and a pac-a-mac... just in case. Hopefully I won't need that!😊).
Moaz is Syrian not turkish. That’s y he was so nice.
