American's, for the most part, don't want or need "cheap" EV..... Majority don't want or need domestic EV's... They are simply fraught with problem's, prime example is the fact that they require ELECTRICITY to operate, which in turn require's GENERATOR'S, which require FUEL, such as gasoline. So the whole argument to reduce traditional automobile's use goes out the window. I hear so many stories of thing's that are going on with EV's it's no wonder people don't want them.

It is funny that you show Israelis firing and the other side only suffering. So, who are they fighting and firing at? Is there no one firing from the other side? China has an aggressive foreign policy threatening Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam etc. which are friends of the USA.China`s world wide fishing practices have threatened the ocean ecosystem.Trade should not be decoupled from China`s belligerent actions towards it`s neighbors.If Trump gets elected he said he would impose a 100% tariff on Chinese EV`s. Most likely our partner to the south ,Mexico, better not let their country be a back door for shipping Chinese cars into the USA that way. All China has to do to mend a trade tariff sanction is not threaten it`s neighbors and follow international laws that have been agreed on about a country`s economic zones and borders.

Philippines is almost another state of America, and heavily dependent on it.
