​@@David31567 they didn't reduce the numbers in half...they specified that 11000 victims cannot be properly identified, as some are pieces, the civil registry as the medical system were destroyed, doctors were murdered, and entire families were obliterated leaving no one that can properly identify them....and the numbers do not include 10000 + people trapped under tons of rubble...how dense can you be?

I'm dumbfounded that they keep trying to appeal to people's compassion for their losses (their women and children and homes, etc.) without any acknowledgement of the harm they're doing to others. Khalil Gibran, born 1883 in North Lebanon, an Arab brought up Maronite Christian but heavily influenced by Islam, Buddhism and spirituality. He recognized beauty in diversity of human thought and possibility. Kind of makes sense - Gibran was born/lived as a child in Lebanon during the Ottoman Empire when Arab Muslims, Arab Christians and Arab Jews lived in peaceful respectfully coexistence.
