Is it not simply that you happen to agree with Cathy Newman & Co., and therefore you don't see it as bias? Furthermore, as someone that has worked a bit in journalism I sort of get what you're getting at, in that there are always implicit, more or less intrinsic biases we can't really shake no matter how hard we try (even the process of choosing what to write an article about is, after all, inherently biased in favour of what we a) want to write about and b) what we think will interest readers). But to me, it's very clear when a line is crossed in making your own opinions too opaque and clear, and I think that line is crossed numerous times in this interview, as they usually are with Cathy Newman. Believe it or not, it actually IS possible to interview an American Republican without letting your contempt for him, his party and his pro-Israel views shine through

Why? Nobody can be truly neutral, especially always. Journalists need to have some balance and present both sides if possible, but nobody should expect a radio show presenter to always remain unbias. Every media channel usually has some bias and it usually shows.

But it doesn't matter. Palestine should surrender, free the hostages, accept Israel as state and eventually get their own state. They should ally with Israel and become a proper, democratic country. And as long as they reject this, Israel has to fight them sadly. Obviously, a truce is not an option, as the Palestinians have shown on October 7th. You can't revard them for their brutality by giving them a state, but maybe in a decade or two... if they behave themselves.

A 2 state solution has been refused by Palestinians 7 times. They have had their chance.
