@@TheKalippp1 "Palestinian side" can choose to stop sending their children to join terrorist groups such as HAMAS and Islamic Jihad. But it would require loving their children more than they hate Jewish people. Unfortunately, from an evolutionary perspective, they have not reached that point yet.

Putting aside the impressive technology, living in such an urban populated place while seeing those missile attack above is mind blowing. We are very far from the war region in our country but I can’t imagine this kind of action happening in my home city.

The rockets Russia uses have targeting systems and are flying at speeds a dozen times faster then the rockets the terrorist are using on Isreal. The rockets the terrorist are using are indiscriminately being launched. They are very cheaply made and sometimes even hand made missiles that have no targeting systems. They are just pointed towards Isreal and launched.

Israel is one of the world leading countries on military technology development, and the. US gets monopoly over a lot of their gadgets due to their “generous” security budget. It’s more complicated than the taxpayers generosity.

@@JPK1337 Never claimed Iron Dome to be the newest. However, Iron Dome sports an intercept rate around 95%. IRIS-T SLM was also designed for a different array of threats than the dome. I'm also skeptical of any system that has a claimed 100% intercept rate for a couple reasons. 100% is impossible to achieve/maintain as eventually, something will break/fail. Second, there straight up might not be enough data to support such a claim. Iron Dome has THOUSANDS of intercepts under its belt. Hence why so many, including the US, want it for drone and munitions defense. The system has a very specific intended use. And in that intended use, it's pretty much the best there is currently

I'm not picking sides here, every side has lost a great deal. I find it just sad that there exists so much violence and destruction and so many people on both sides are suffering. I wish they somehow could find a peaceful solution and just coexist.

It's like literally living in an invisible protective sci-fi dome shield.

More than likely, they were already directed to a target at launch, but then, that target got eliminated, and the missile got redirected to another target via datalink. Still an insane sight to behold

will be nice to have iron dome 2.0 that sends back rockets to their source.

How does it work? Is it automatic?

It's so beautiful yet unsettling and dangerous. The Iron Dome is truly a marvel

This feels like a horror movie, with the loud sirens and not knowing just exactlhy whether or not those midssles would hit or not and how much damage they could possibly make.

Exactly, very simple Imagine Pakistan keep doing the same thing on India but India says Pakistan exists on their lands, which is true. Whole world will go berserk Yet they can't see Palestinians breaking peace every single day

Imagine Mexico throwing missiles at America. Would America wait for the United Nations to intervene before taking action.. Israel has every right to defend itself , just like America... Imagine the UN telling America that they would have to tolerate those missiles strikes..

Imagine the US invading Mexico and establishing its territory there. Would it be wrong for the Mexicans to go after what was taken from them? Go in search of your land back? Well, when Ukraine defends its territory (from the one that intends to take it) tooth and nail, they are applauded and supported by the whole world. Now when Palestinians do the same, they are called terrorists.

⁠@@rxtr664ll it depends. For most of Palestine’s history they have been the first to attack and break cease fires. Only a couple of times did Israel do it first. Israel is also always the first ones to propose a cease fire. I mean Israel gave Palestine land to become a country only because Hezbollah (later renamed to Hamas), a terrorist organization, continuously attacked them. Then once Palestine became its own state the Palestinians immediately voted in Hamas to run the country and now here we are, Israel and Palestine constantly bombing each other.

@@pro-socialsociopath769 Which means the margins on the funding by the US are massive. I have seen zero evidence of a rocket hitting another rocket - and I've been looking for years. The video above certainly does not show that.
