@GooGooGadget he screws contenders by staying active? You can't be serious. Inactive champions are the reason people like Tony Ferguson and Beneil Dariush both went on 10+ win streaks and still didn't fight the champ.

"He just never let me get Into my Rhythm" Exactly, Dana made poor excuses during the post-fight press conference by saying that Izzy during that fight "looked slow", but that wasn't because he had an off night, he just fought a fighter that didn't let him Implement his usual style and not let him Impose his will. Respect to Izzy for showing humility here, and admitting he just lost to the better man that day.❤🙏

Did you not watch the whole video? I hear excuses about not feeling right in the back (before the fight), I hear him saying that a friend “ab” said as soon as the opponent switched his whole demeanor changed, hear him saying it felt like he had noodle arms and no snap to his punches?? And that’s just minutes in 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 the Izzy ass kissers are ridiculous

But do they have to say they feel 100% every time they lose. You just want him to say that's the best I've ever been even if he didnt

Working a normal job seemingly comes with taking losses so regularly that it’s inspiring to see the way you take yours. Introspective, honest, thoughtful and hopeful. You remind me that if you can go through taking a loss at your job, with such severe potential consequences, on a world scale, while maintaining such a high level of self confidence and strength in character, I can face mine with the same attitude. That of being grateful and thankful for the lesson, as tough as it may have been, because it will make me better if I let it. had a tough day today and seeing this video pop up just gave me the reminder I needed to remain humble and willing to Learn in order to grow. no,not even close. Anderson never engaged in victim mentality race baiting. he also lost by a lucky punch while he was playing around then broke his leg. uzzy 1st got embarrassed by yan, knocked the fk out by Alex and sean just put a 5 round striking clinic on izzy and beat his brains out. absolutely no comparison. Anderson never treated his opponents like trash like izzy does. shld I keep going. Anderson silva wld take ur comment as a slur against who he is. izzy is nothing like Anderson

What I percieved on my end is that Adesanya was maybe a little too overconfident during the lead up to the fight and maybe thought that Sean's skills were inferior, so he was a bit surprised when he saw how successful Sean was and was also unable to adjust and recover. Sean was also very suprised that he won that fight and even showed doubts about winnning the rematch. I think Izzy is going to take a long break(to him maybe an year) before he comes back. Sometimes its just burn out that affects our perfomances. The guy has been the most active champion ever.

Izzy became champ, stayed champ, lost it in a dramatic way, gained it back in a very dramatic way, and then lost on his very first title defense. I cheered very hard when Izzy came back and beat Alex and I was excited and hyped for a week. I also was completely shocked when Sean Strickland absolutely walked through the man that was supposed to destroy him. I’m a fan of MMA and without Izzy the MMA world would have been a lot duller this past year. You were an excellent champion and maybe your time is up, or maybe you are just getting started. That’s the true beauty of MMA!!
