Excellent excellent idea! I have a DIY ultra sonic and attached an external Aquarium pump/filter, but I don't like my set up. I have pre-ordered the Humminguru cleaner but not slated to receive it until Sept/Oct. I was looking at getting an iSonic until then. In future videos give us an update if you change out methods or filter material. I have also wondered about using a high quality chamois cloth to dry records. I would think that they would have less fibers than the micro towels.

The filter seems to be working fine. When I pour the water back into the tank it looks nice and clear. I was looking at the humming guru but at 350-400 whatever finally works out to be, I prefer paying the extra money for the option of doing 5 to 10 albums at the same time. I initially went through my whole collection about 450 albums then after the fiber situation I redid them all so the 10 album option came in very handy. Now I have to replay I put the album on the shelf for cleaning and wait for more albums or any new purchases and then run through five at a time. I am also giving Turgikleen a try and it seems to work well. I've been very happy with the iSonic

I’m in the process of building a simple filtration system for my ultrasonic cleaner very similar to yours, nice video but sitting in that big comfy chair made you look like you were to relaxed and the video could have been about 5 minutes shorter if you were sitting on a wooden crate 😊

I have been happy with this and I'm still using it. However, I have modified the filter element. I snipped a couple of the cross bars, removed the filter material and replace it with some Marineland Aquarium filter media. I just cut a piece and stuff it into the old element.

@@ejcheck that’s a good idea, I’m not sure what those beads are they put in the shower filter but it does eventually breakdown and that would end up in your cleaning solution but I can’t confirm if it is detrimental to the cleaning of vinyl records
