When I moved to the US from Italy I was so confused by all these acronyms. We have few but nothing in compared with how many of them are used in the US (even the country is an acronym). What is funny about Ismo for a foreigner is that we find all the same challenges no matter where we are from, here in the great US (but we still are here because in the end is still a great place).

@@jeniferpaguia892 Italy could be the best place in the world, so much culture, history, cousine, paintings, sculptures, mountains, hills, seas, and so forth and so on. BUT, Italians live in the past, no immagination, corruption, fear of innovation, fear of strangers, ignorance (40% of Italian have learned in the school only for 8 years), the catholic church, foreign policy decided by the Americans, economic policy by the Germans, all that is leading Italy to a sharp decline. I know, I am very strict with my country, and I would be even if I were Norwegian or a US citizen about these nations. But the Italy I would like exists in the minds of few, too bad! But you can cry looking at what remains of the ancient times; so at least Italy is a much safer place than the United States for example, feel free to visit us, it will always be an emotion to contemplate the beauty of this country.
