I dedicate this video to William (Billy) P. Moon II, a former Islip FD Chief and FDNY member who lost his life in the line of duty a few weeks ago. His funeral precession passed by the Islip FD Headquarters, in which this siren was set off. God rest his soul, and may god bless his family and the Islip FD & FDNY brothers who grew to know him; 1975-2022.
This siren is the Islip Fire Department's Headquarters Siren. It is sounded for fire calls only and does not test. This siren is located atop the Islip Fire Department HQ in Islip, NY on Monell Avenue.
I made my way out to Islip to hear this Modulator, which sounded in respect of the fallen firefighter, William Moon II. Islip's "General" siren cycle was activated 3 times as his motorcade passed the Islip FD. The signal is a very high pitch (1440 hz.) custom Attack signal. This was the most high pitch mod I have ever heard, but certainly not the loudest. Lucas (‪@linysirenfirebuff4786‬ ) was also present, but he walked over to Main Street before it sounded, paying his respects as they passed. I also had an audio recorder up the road recording an ambience of both of Islip's sirens, which will be posted in a separate video later on.
Many people requested a return to this channel, and through basic common sense I did. I still have my other channel up for various siren videos as well however. I also changed my editing style ever so slightly so the title has more information, it's easier to read, and I left my watermark at the bottom right corner of the screen along with my actual name because video reposting has grown to a level it hasn't grown to before. Each video will be struck down in spite of that. Remember....↓
