Please critically analyse Holy Quran.1) Wether it qualifies as hate speech. More than 50% of its verses teach hate for the non believers. 2) It teaches discrimination on basis of faith as Hinduism discriminates on basis of birth. Does it "mainstream" & "normalise" hate and discrimination

no bro you are wrong Islam teaches hate , I admit there some ayat in quran that talks about war and other but it imply according to situation for example if other relegion or some other countries invades into your country how to fight with them , and how to deal with ...the one line which I sincerely want to mention here that , when we read Qur'an and any ayat , see how prophet Muhammad SAW react or did action ❤️ according to that .

Sir you are too good in explaining things in historical and modern perspective. I have a question sir that how can we literate people with this philosophy as we see they become afraid when these things are explained to them.

Do you think Imam e Azam Abu Hanifa (R.A) was only Scholar in Islamic History, there are so many scholars after him and they still exist. You just have an open mind to understand the modern interpretation of Islamic Scholars. The Islamic economic system is neither Capitalist where the market is left free to lead to the disasters that we are seeing nor Communist where everything is owned and controlled by the state. Islam distinguishes between public property, state property and private property. Islam forbids the private ownership of the large resources such as the Oil and Gas that we see the Western companies fighting over in the Muslim world. The Prophet (saw) said: “People share in three things, fire, water and the green pastures” reported by Abu Dawud. Anas reported from Ibn Abbas adding “and its price is forbidden”. In addition to this the Prophet (saw) used to take back lands from people if he found they contained vast resources such as a salt mine. The huge revenue generated by public resources such as Oil and Gas in an Islamic state be utilised for the benefit of the public and not for the personal interests of the rulers who siphon off the money into their swiss bank accounts and spend it for their own pleasure as we see today. The Prophet (saw) said: “The Imam is a shepard and he is responsible.” [Bukhari, Ahmad, Bayhaqi]. Please I request first study our religion in depth just like you have studied modern sciences.

Islam gave us fundamental principles regarding Politico-Socio-Economic Systems as it is divine guideline till the end of this universe. The Concept of " Ijtihad" is based on this principle that Muslims should evolve their Political and Economic systems regarding their current scenario within the defined limits of Quran and Sunnah. The Economic System of Islam is in between Capitalism and Communism. Shariah Law gave us guidelines about Land ownership, taxation, trade, inheritance and Riba etc. In fact, Bait-ul-maal was the first institute which offered Socialism and public insurance during Khilafat-e-Rashida period. So the argument, "Islam doesn't give us Political and Economic Systems" is false in itself.

Thank you for sharing your understanding. I want to ask few things here. When we say Islamic Economic System, we mean a system based on Zakat and not Taxes. Both have different implications. Your explanation does not cover system of Zakat in Islamic Economic System. You ask too many questions based on common sense. What your common sense says about weighing vote of literate and illiterate people. Can you give same value to both? This is the main difference between Islamic Political system and democratic system. In Islamic political system, vote of a literate is of more value than of illiterate person. If you can differentiate and explain both systems based on their principles, I will be thankful.

It is possible to turn an illiterate society into a highly literate society (95%+ literacy) in the course of a few years. Many very very poor countries have done this successfully with minimal costs. Also, literate, educated people with secular education and religious education have been running Pakistan for its entire history. What is the result? It is not possible to build a successful country without putting the needs of the poor and so called "backwards" groups first. I am not concerned with the few "geniuses" who run various companies, countries, and institutions, but with the millions of geniuses who are born and die while slaving away in factories and fields without an education.

You didn't shed light on what is islamic economic system. You have jumped directly into conclusion that we should not implement nor we can. Though the mode of production changed but islamic economic values are intact, one can't ignore just saying that there is no compatibility of islamic economic system in modern era. If Riba was Haram so it is.

Question is how to understand social and economic activities? Another example is yellow light: here you have two nucleus who push themselves each other away. More they exert force on each other's, more they looks yellow so electron going left on 2nd nucleus if 1st one trying to keep him away or vice versa. 3rd place you have red light; here nucleus is moving every electron in the right direction either it has to extra workout or not. After this you see all kinds of people's attitudes till you make up your mind if you support to keep man dominance or woman freedom which is all about either you allow fucking or not then step up series after series where ever you like to go

my advice for all to also listen modern islamic scholars namely dr. Asar-ul-Islam and Allama Pervez Ahmad to hear true Islam, which has no link with one we are following at present. hundreds of videos of both the scholars are available on youtube

Why is it "dukh ki baat" at 12:26. It's nothing sad that they couldn't envision something that would take place 600 years later. But you couldn't hide your smugness at being "jadidiat pasand". Jadidiat doesn't have to come without a grain of humility. Slight rephrasing of your "dukh" comment would have ameliorated your smugness. Whenever you mentioned the Imams and how they could not write about governance in the era of capitalism, I waited for you to say they couldn't envision it just like we cannot envision or suggest solutions for the type of socio/economic/political system the world will have in the year 2100, let alone the year 2600. This one comment would have ameliorated the smugness and superior-than-thou vibe one feels at some points in your lecture. I did enjoy this entire series though. Hope you continue your mission and don't get discouraged by views in the low thousands. As Atticus Finch said, ""Simply because we were licked a hundred years before we started is no reason for us not to try to win."

He didn't wrote any book. All we know about him, is through his students. Same goes with Socrates. That is why, there is no conclusive evidence that the ideas of Imam Jafir Sadiq (a.s), we know today, weather belongs to him or not. His students might have added their opinions and biases in his thought.

But hear this- “Not only did Ibn Khaldun plant the germinating seeds of classical economics, whether in production, supply, or cost, but he also pioneered in consumption, demand, and utility, the cornerstones of modern economic theory.” writes Ibrahim M Oweiss who is an Egyptian-born American Economist, international economic advisor and professor of economics at Georgetown university Washington DC. Ibn Khaldun discovered virtue & necessity of the division of labor before Smith & principle of labour theory of value (among the best known advocates of this labour theory was Karl Marx himself) before David Ricardo and the role of government in stabilisation policy before Keynes.

There was Kautilya s Arthashastra before Adam Smith . Though it did not have contents of modern day economics . P.s . I am not trying to peddle any sort of Hindu religious supremacy .

You found him intellectual and rationalist. But Mr. Rationalist has never given any sound reason why socialism has failed in almost all countries of the world. There is nothing wrong about being a modernist. But if one cannot see that Hegel and Marx's claim that all values (including moral values) are byproduct of dialectic materialism is unscientific, then his or her modernity must be doubted.
