The whole summarization of the video is, Shariah means rules manifest by God through various revelations and jurisprudence means interpretation of Shariah rules by Human through self-conscience and varied level of apprehensions. There are five major school of jurisprudence in Islam including Hanfi, Malaki, shafi hanbali and shia school of jurisprudence. Until 13th century jurisprudence and interpretation of Quran and Sunnah had almost halted and Ijtihad was no more considered requisite which is the interpretation of sharia rules according to any specific time interval or needs

There are two terms used in Islamic laws. Had and tazeer. In field of tazeer legislature has authority to make laws under umbrella of basic religious injunctions. But in field of had punishments have been told through revealed text...

I am interested to hearing your thoughts on the book of Ahmet Kuru titled “Islam , Authoritarianism and underdevelopment , can you share that ? Besides, when I was an undergraduate student of business administration , I realise that we are stuck in past in such a way that , we have forgotten, islam is not stagnant religion ,but modern Muslim needs modern solution . And sir , our students will require a bit of time to understand this simple fact , so what you are doing will be take time to get internalise . But I really enjoy your arguments .

I appreciate your efforts of sharing your knowledge on the subject. I ask you to take my point of view in a positive manner. I am hopeful that you will reconsider a part of what you said. You said that "sharia and fiqh' primarily deals with social matters and acts of worships. Most of the writings can be found on the issues of ethics etc." I suggest you to further your knowledge about Islamic sharia, legal rulings and matters of Ijtehaad by learning in the supervision of learned scholars like you did in the case of political science. This is not even close to reality. To quote an example from innumerable other examples,; there is a famous book called "Hidaya" written by Burhan-ud-deen Almurghani consisting of four volumes, one volume deals with 'Ibadaat' (acts of worship) and the other three deals with matters within society, economy, politics, relationships, obligations of muslims etc. Islam has given the principles for economy and politics in the light of which we can work on details, but to say that it is not enough, is incorrect. The absence of details should be seen as a 'flexibility', Islam has extended for legislation according to local customs and society that are in congruence with Islam, and not to be seen as deficiency. For example, In Islamic economic system, Interest-bearing transactions, gambling and speculative transactions are forbidden but all other modes of businesses excluding these are permitted with few other exceptions like 'Gharar'. Within this framework, the different schools of jurisprudence stipulated further rules and details that can be included to form a detailed ordinance governing the corporate, economic and banking activities.

Aur uske baad ALLAH ka naam le kar mar jayie. Upka mulk ka tarakki milenga, up ko Jannat v. Sharia sun-sunkar kaan paak giya. Lagta, Allah musalmano ka baap ka jagirdari hai.

@@quamrulhassan8205 how religion and state can be separated? There are two possibilities about the religion, either we accept it as the revealed religion or reject it. If we reject it then practicing it in our personal lives or claiming it as our religion would be nothing more than stupidity but if we accept it with all our senses and then rejecting it's role in managing the state when it already commands would be exceeding it's limits and again would be equal to rejection. Either we are Muslims or not, what's the middle terminology??

Sir Plz once must read the ideology and the concept of Imam shah waliullah regarding Islam. Imam shah walliullah gave a complete system of islam. And the edge is that the Birth of Imam shah walliullah is on the " junction Badshahat & and start of industrial revolution" And must must go through the academia of moulana ubaidullh Sindhi Bcz the late sindhi is very rational Islamic scholar . Hazrat sindhi solved out all these complexities of traditionalism and modernism or liberalism.
