Hey Chloe. I hope you are doing well :) if i might share some wisdom from my 26 years on this planet and many difficulties with family: one thing i learned growing up is that healthy relationships are always hard work, no matter if the relation is built on blood relations or otherwise. But putting in the hard work is what makes them so precious. The hard work we put in shows the other person that we are serious about it, that they can trust us, that they won't lose us easily and that they can be who they really are without being afraid of scaring us away. The willingness to make it work and to put in the work necessary is all it takes from two people to form a lasting relationship. Usually it just takes a while to form that willingness. But in reality, you can even form a life-long friendship with a person you previously hated if you both are willing to. And your new parents obviously want you to be part of the family :) Sometimes lowering your guard and taking a bet on people is really all that is necessary. Really hope you and your family are getting along.

I was In care for 6 years but with my siblings I was adopted but I have never told my adoption family how much it ment for me and I got split up with my siblings we all whent to different people my brother went back to my dad

As an adoptive child I will state the obvious. I’m blessed that I grew up with a family that loved me. It’s not that I don’t wonder about my birth mother/father, but my beloved parents raised me, loved me, encouraged me, supported me, taught me right from wrong, taught me to respect my elders, taught me to be kind, taught me to be helpful, taught me to be inquisitive and question everything, and to be me. I am who i am because of them…

Just saw the movie on Netflix and came here to listen to the song again. I really like it, Isabela is great, as an actress and as a singer. Greetings from Berlin!

This movie always hits me because I was adopted and my real parents was never there for me and having people that didn’t give birth to me care for me more than my actual parents… this movie hits hard cause I was just like her with my siblings. I’m so blessed to finally have someone I can call mom who is also my best friend and also the best grandma

I was adopted too and I never gave my mum or dad the love they deserve because I was always angry at my birth mother for leaving me and when I found her after 30 years I'm left empty because I thought meeting her would fix me but it broke me further. It's about time I gave my love or what's left of it to the shining heroes who saved me and gave me a chance at life!! I never thought I'd get such a positive supporting response. Thank you to each one of you. May God bless you all with love and happiness. No one deserves to feel like they are not loved!!

The movie, helped me realize I wasnt alone, I'm adopted and I used to always think it was a bad thing but its actually the opposite instead of thinking about it as ypur parents abandoned you think of it as they gave you another choice to be something greater.

I have the same kind of story. I was adopted when I was very young, (2 years old) and I’m very thankful for my mom who which adopted me. I’ve never been mean to her, or have shut her off before, but this song and movie just hits me. ❤️

@@reddragon6317 That's true, but I can't really tell that autotune is being used, so I think that's pretty good. There's some artists where you can clearly tell they are using autotune.

I watched this movie a couple days ago in cinemas and cried because the message of this film was beautiful ~ family isn’t only just blood relation but it’s who will be there to fight and stick by you.

And he won't understand the American accent so I will have to translate all of this movie in our native language but hell it's worth the effort

Dia : 365 Mission Accomplished. One whole year listening to Isabela Merced.

This movie got me so unbelievably emotional. The impact it had on me was just EXTRODINARY. This movie was a great look into adoption, obviously some of the funny bits were a bit exaggerated, but overall, I couldn't find myself not enjoying the movie for a single moment, and this music... It warmed my heart. It's AMAZING.

firstly, isabela is really pretty and is a very good actor, she acted the role lizzie perfectly. so perfect that i wish i could have had a chance to be part of that film. secondly, the movie was amazing. i had this weird feeling after watching it and knowing that it was based on a true story was very sad. isabella/ lizzie inspired me to become an actress. and the song is amazing very emotional and beautiful. thanks isabella moner i love you.

Her voice is so beautiful 🥰

Hollywood should take a note and learn the lesson from this film. The lesson being a society is only as good if it protects and respects the basic unit - the family. This movie is inspirational and really outlines that individualism is never the answer, the sacrifices that good foster parents make to so many orphans. Not saying that people should not have children, quite the opposite, but every child deserves to be loved and cared for by parents who can bring the best out in them.

Lizzie grows up and inspired by her childhood adopts kids of her own. We get see Pete and Ellie taking on the life of grandparents.

I swear isabela is the prettiest and most talented woman I’ve ever seen 😭 we all wish we were her When I was 2 my parents split up, I had to switch between my dad and step dad all the time and had a mentality sick brother who would try and hurt me and my family. I know this is about adopted children but this song still hits me 😭 especially after my dad passed away a couple years back

I saw Instant Family it made me cry. It is such an amazing thing and I just want to say thank you Isabela for changing my life. I hope you see this. Thank you again.

I came and listened to this as soon as instant family finished and instant family is one of the best movies ever made😘

i can agree to i watched it over and over i wish i had a parent who hugged me and said i love u every night .

I was adopted at a very young age by my aunt and uncle. And I get to see my birth parents and spend time with my brother. And I have had some doubts like my birth parents didn’t really want me but I know they do and I know they love me. But I was lucky and I want to give my love and support to the ones who weren’t so lucky. Stay strong❤
