Done watching the movie. The house that you live in does not makes you at home if you can't feel the warmth and love from your family. This is really a heartbreaking movie seeing how their parents neglected them and made them feel unloved and unwanted. But in the end of the day family may vary but those people who really welcomes you open heartedly are those more deserving of you. You are worth it lovelots.

@@Theawd well both Billie and Alessia produce pop music so it's a semi-art anyway but I think both of them have different things which make them stand out. Alessia definitely has more useful lyrics and her voice has power but is still smooth, also her recent albums have a unique and cool musical style. Billie has a very aetherian voice, it's really nice to relax to songs like ocean eyes. Her brother and she make relaxing and pleasant music which has a special vibe to it. So I think both Alessia and Billie have their own adequate style and both are good artist. Billie gets a bit more fame, so what? Alessia still earns lots of money with what she does, no reason to complain. If you want to see artists who really get less attention than they deserve for their work look at non pop artists like scary pockets, jacob collier, KNOWER, sungazer, vulfpeck or hiatus kaiyote

This song is THE song my daughter would sing every single time the movie was on (which she played on repeat) and just in general. It always made her so sad to see how they were treated but ALWAYS made the best smile and came snuggling with my wife, her brother and I; knowing we were a loving happy family. The words for a 4-5 year old were very advanced to even understand but she dedicated the song to us. She passed at 5 years old just shy of her 6th birthday August 23rd 2021. This song is her lasting message to me that she chose us, and we choose her over and over again. Still not even sure what took her precious life at 7 months in; went in healthy and never came out within 45 minutes….I miss you Sophia Grace Smaragdas and will Always Choose You

I literally cried at the ending scene because if this was in real life, the kids would have probably frozen to death real quick because they didn’t wear anything warm and had nothing to protect them. Imagine four siblings hugging each other out in spite of the winter coming upon them, but they say it’s fine because they’re together. It’s definitely one of the good or probably the best animation movie 2020 has so far.

I was crying while watching The Willoughbys, so many lesson that you will learn.

This movie is not really like the other movies or shows where parents finally learned to love their child. But in the end, they finally found the love they wanted even though it's not from their real parents.

If they don't, then starting your words of encouragement with something that the other person may not even be able to confirm just makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about. If you want someone to know they are loved, then don't tell them "God loves you", tell them "I love you". Because where God may be in doubt, you are demonstrably there.

This song just made me cry just like the movie did

I was really angry with their mother and father and I was cursing them a lot. Imagine having them as your parents. I was crying when they were rescuing their parents. The lines there were very touching and heart melting, and I thought everything will be fine after that. Imagine saying these words to your parents: "Look, we are not a perfect family. We're not even a good family. But you need us to get down this alp, and once we're down there, we need you so that we can all stay together. You don't have to love us, but will thou be our parents again? Please." But still they neglect you as their children. The movie didn't complicate things though, but imagine the pain it caused to a CHILD. Nevertheless, it's a GREAT MOVIE.

I just cried when the parents neglected them like they don't deserve their kids and Tim, Jane, and the Barnabys don't deserve them. The kids deserve more than anything. And I'm so glad that Linda came and treat them like it's hers. In a real-world where we’re living in, There are parents who like them. Treat their children in a bad way, making them suffers in abusive ways and that makes the children lead to suicide. I really feel bad for those. But if you're one of them and you're reading this, please think in a positive way. okay but srsly. i came back to this song after 4 years, and watched the movie again. imagine irl finding children's skeleton, frozen, but theyre hugging each other. if linda and melanoff didnt find them in time, im sure it would be like that. irl, this would happen.

Spoilers It hurt my heart when the kids said “you don’t have to love us, just be our parents”. That was so horrible. Every child deserves love ❤️

This movie was really underrated af 😪 the message it sent was deep and it really hit home for me 🥺 normalize letting parents know that providing the bare necessities for a child is not enough. Emotional and mental abuse is real as well.

I just watch the movie yesterday and i literally have no idea you are the voice actor for jane until at the credit scene- literally i am in love with your singing in the movie 😍 i usually listen to your scar to your beautiful song but now i got another favorite song by you✨♥️

I used to watch this as a kid, and this actually really deep. they live in a (kind of) abusive household with neglective and drunk parents. only the nanny helps them. they had to sneak to eat food, and thats the worst part.

This movie hit home to me. I'm currently quarantined with my 2 brothers and parents. Almost a week ago I had a fight with my mother and it was really verbal. That was actually the first time I defended myself for real. But still she didn't understand and she just hit me. The thing is, I've been dealing with anxiety and depression for years now (I was diagnosed) and it was all because of her. My mom is a very, very toxic parent and she never apologizes for anything. As for my dad, he's the best parent ever but he's always away (works abroad) so he didn't really know what was happening until a year ago when I tried to kill myself. I watched this movie yesterday with my brothers after not leaving my room after that fight so basically it was just my dad who saw me during the days I locked myself up as he had to bring me food and I was such a mess. I actually never thought I'd relate to this movie this much as I'm very close with my siblings and to me they're my home. It was hard watching this movie because I was trying hard not to be emotional around them, because to me that moment mattered. My house feels like hell for real but everytime my mom leaves and it's just the three lf us, these were the only times I feel like I'm truly at home.

My son was crying after watching this and he asked me when they threw the children out “would you ever do that to us”? It completely broke my heart! But I reassured him between the cracking of my voice. Good movie but it’s sad because children really go through this.

1. I literally didn't know that Alessia was Jane up until Jane sang when they were all about to freeze. That was literally the only time where I was like 'wow she kind of sounds like Alessia Cara' and then I was like 'wait I think it is her' 2. I think my devices are listening to me because I literally just watched the movie and this was on my recommend page.
