​@@shazzzza4032 lavani is not vulgar originally. It's been made vulgar by some marathi movies. Like a woman dancing on stage and people going mad on her. Lavani originally wasn't like that, it's a respectful dance too.

​@@shazzzza4032plz go and search what lavani. It was preformed by dhangar community of maharashtra in temples with respect to their god Biroba. Later it got vulgar because of some people's mentality. Like Katthak originally devotional invented in Krishna mandir of north India but later it went on to Musical courts of Mughal where prostitutes used to perform it as a entertainment of mughal badshah. So please before calling it vulger think about. Myself is lavani artist and i am not a prostitute. I have taken too much efforts to get expertise at lavani form.

It was a dance form predominantly used in Mujras or Tamaashas and never for 'family' entertainment! 😂 In fact a Lavani performance almost always begins with a hip shimmy with the dancers' back to the crowd for rather obvious reasons & is laced with suggestive moves and lyrics all around

Agree with Kiran Mam . This generation has spoiled the meaning of dance itself

I feel Kirron Ji Is Right. Traditional Lavani has its Own Grace and Dignity, it doesn't require Twerking Western Style which ruins the Dance Performance, Making it Unwanted and Unpleasant. The Point is not against The Fusion But The Steps which ones would look right or wrong, The Other Western Steps Didn't Make Wrong Impact But Twerking Made It Unpleasant and The Way It is Performed, The Grace and The Boldness should be performed rightly.Twerking at main hook step was uncalled for unnecessary sillness and it was forcefully added and wrong.

Kiran ma'am is ABSOLUTELY right. When you are doing a cultural dance, you can't mix it with Western concept of "twerking", taking into account the concept of twerking in the West as well. It was DEFINITELY vulgar. Lavani is not supposed to have any such movements. If one does mix both, it should not be claimed as LAVANI. Kiran ma'am also, being from an older generation values indian culture rather than Malaika.

If any artist intending to perform LAWANI, the pride of Maharashtra dance, should not include any other steps in the dance, the charm, dignity and originally will go off. Some other artists include some more steps and say it is Lawani. Like that after some years, there will not be seen the original Lawani. Hence I request not to spoil the original form of the Lawani natyam.

I felt she lacked there as I did appreciate her twerking style but at one point felt little uncomfortable as it was going some other direction. Pls la get real. The dancer did something where others have not done. If u want to stick the the same style there is no much creativity. Don’t suppress a dancer. End of the day it’s important how a judge comment. If Kiranji is not impressed so can always say it in polite manner instead shouting at her!!! Probably kiran ji is twerking via her mouth!!!

Her performances of initial episodes were totally acceptable and amazing which were kinda pure twerkings but in this particular performance, she mixed twerking with lavani which somewhere looked a little odd like kiran mam said because lavani is all about soft grace and more cultural whereas twerking is western form and completely differs from lavani. So, mixing twerking in lavani in this performance made it look vulgar in the eyes of kiran mam which can somehow be accepted.

kiran ma'am had problem with her twerking from first episode..it wasn't her fusion of twerking with lavani that kiran ma'am had a problem with..from audition time kiran ma'am had a problem with twerking..but twerking is done world wide now and there is nothing vulgar about it..she may not be able to accept that but it's 2022 and people r discovering new styles and doing it..and twerking is very hard..and it actually shapes ur thigh muscles and all..if u do it properly it's a great workout for legs too..people see twerking and think it's vulgar but that's not the case..indian people need to be a little bit more open minded

she is very versatile..she can contemporary, hip hop, lavani, fok dances, belly , twerking!!! love her..and there is nothing vulgar about twerking..it's done worldwide so why not in india..and proneeta is the winner of dance india dance S5 and she won it without ever doing twerking so she is a very talented dancer..she chose this dance form to show indian people that it's not a vulgar style..but sadly there will always be some indian people who would not agree..i hope the percentage of open minded people is more than those with conservative mentality

She is a good dancer but, lavni is a powerful and respected traditional Marathi dance which absolutely does NOT require any sexual moves. Back in 4th grade, I myself had performed lavni in this exact same song, in my school annual concert. I remember, it was beautiful, graceful and fun dance which we all enjoyed. The point is if you want to include modern and sexual steps, please leave traditional dance out of it. Also its better to do modest and elegant dances in professional shows and events

Twerking is good in western dance ♥️ Not in folk dance ☝️(in folk dance we culturally express the traditional dance)👍 Entire dance was good 👏👍but when she suddenly twerk literally didn't match in the song❌ I totally agree with Kiran ma'am 🙌🙂

Proneeta is a queen. Our philosophies were most expressive especially with music and dance, all should be explored.

But Lavani doesn’t need twerking at all even if its fusion twerking takes away the respect that Lavani has in Maharashtra.

I am a kathak dancer myself....and I think Kiren mam. Was right...this performance had really low standards i think if they had really really nice judges they will not let this girl get in this show....this performance was not of a level it can not even win a basic normal dance competition...and we are talking about INDIA' S GOT TALENT here😂
