DoTheWork♥️ "Your partner is not a reflection of who you are but may be a reflection of where you are".😢I had to pause after that gem💎 and I believe that's the main intent of salvation, God revealing that where we are is not consistent with who we are and therefore through Christ there's a redirection to navigate to who we truly are in Christ-our Destination.

This is beautiful. Serve your partner as if you are serving God. Even when you are out there remember you are representing God by being faithful to your partner (in the absentia). The Great I AM loves you

Your partner is partially a reflection of who you are. People are obviously different but there are certain characteristics that you have that your partner should have like morals and values, goals, drive, work ethic. Also you can play a role in some of the decisions your partner makes hence they would then be a reflection of you. So they are a reflection in that sense. However, they are not a reflection of you in terms of their behaviour. If my man acts a damn fool in public that says a lot about him and not about their partner. But one can also just argue that everyone is responsible for their behaviour and what they do overall reflects on who they are.

I learned that from my own marriage that I should not feel entitled to my husband’s success and blessings, even though I put in the hard work with him, sacrificed almost everything… As soon as I learned that, I was at so much peace. This then begs the question, what if I used that energy towards building myself, where would I be? It’s a bit of a selfish question but what if?? Please don’t get me wrong, I was not sacrificing it all to get something in return but I was doing it from the spirit of “us” “building a legacy” 😊

Great conversations. ❤ in my mother tongue bare "ya šika le ye garang le yona e tlo gara" . I think to some extent, subconsciously we are a reflection of our partners. You live with this person, they complete your sentences, you have inside jokes, you give each other feedbacks and eventually you start to share your thinking patterns. The 2 shall become 1. Remember a reflection is a mirror...a bounce back of what is portrayed Infront of you. Either good or bad, partners rub off their energies, characters and past experiences on each other. It is however fortunate or unfortunate what will transpire from what you are unconsciously taking in as you spend time with this person. Some of the characteristics are learned by just observing...❤ let me pause here. Where is Calvin the sign lingo interpreter guys?
