What I loved: - The shape and form factor - The weight - The consideration of lifetime Questionable aspects: - Why does a vehicle like this need to go any faster than 90 mph? - Why bother with the back seat instead of having batteries there and leaving the front free for a frunk? - Why not make it more affordable, especially if you want to make a new Beetle? Would be far more popular if it were in the £28-32K range. Start by having a less powerful motor with lower top speed.

As Tesla has proven, it's a good strategy to go for the high-end market first, since it's more profitable. The money made from that can then be used to develop a lower-cost version, leveraging economies of scale. Trying to build a production line from nothing with no revenue is a tall order for investors.

I've been following Nobe since around the same time I reserved my Aptera a year or two ago. As an American, NOTHING about it says American mucle car to me. The front and interior look very 50s/60s Italian/European coupe. That said, I love both the GT and the GTS. I'd have one if the range was better or the price was much lower. Gorgeous cars. @@FlyingFun. Actually, the biggest cost bumping up the price is the all carbon fiber tub (like is used in F1 racing). This will be the first commercial car to have that - it's a safety thing. The tub protects the occupants even in high speed crashes. (I'm CFO of Nobe Cars)

Having watched some glowing reviews of the new Ford F-150 Lightning I almost have the impression that bigger vehicles actually do make sense for electric vehicles. At least in North America. The Lightning is comfortable, powerful, competent and (relatively) inexpensive.

Yeah I've been following the Nobe for a couple yrs. Same with Aptera. Nobe would be great for the European old cities. But when you have space the F150 base at the same or less price just smokes this. Now if they can bring the price point down to 3/5th of the base f150 then it might have a US market. At least the Nobe can be a 3 seater.

A learner/newer driver version: that's an interesting thought. I'll pass it along to the CEO - maybe in a few years we can do something like this. It would have to be very much distinguishable from the 'real' versions so as not to dilute the brand image. Maybe something with similar styling, but clearly different, and maybe under a different brand name, possibly even licensed out. I'd be concerned about sacrificing safety, but maybe a model limited to 25 mph?

I've not watched the full yet... But my first impressions are that the front end reminds me of a classic Alfa Romeo. Which is a great start, as they are gorgeous. After watching the whole video, I have to say I really like the car as a whole. It's great to see smaller electric cars. This what we need more of. That being said though, we also need more affordable small electric cars. Hopefully they can introduce a more budget originated option down the line as well.

Beautiful. I've always been a fan of 3 wheelers. This is the right way to think about all cars (and motorbikes), ie small, light, efficient, fun, built to last. A bit pricy to start with but a design life of 40 years makes it cheaper and much more sustainable over it's life. Good luck to Nobe!
