Fools. This is a credit card for people who buy multiple gold plated super-cars, and diamond encrusted handbags. Their middle names are "tacky" and "vulgar". Of course they'll have a credit card that is disgustingly ostentatious, and not practical or aesthetically pleasing. What do you expect?

Met a guy with this card once and he had the centurion as well

In France they call this card the "Dubai First Royale with Cheese."

The lack of symmetry on the gold lining makes it visually unappealing to me tbh. If it were thinner, but encompassed the entire edge, they it would look pretty awesome.

It doesn’t matter you can spend any amount on the card and that’s what matter you could buy a US Senate seat with that card , or a ambassador’s appointment with a card like that

I will stay with American Express centurion platinum

It's weird that they charge such a high interest rate, considering it's Dubai. I thought Muslims had a very old school "no usury" religious stance. Obviously it would be very hard to run a bank without charging interest, but I figured they'd at least be discreet or restrict credit in order to keep the rates very conservative. I mean, 3% per month is payday loan or title loan territory. That's the kind of interest you charge (and can only get away with) when your clientele is almost guaranteed to be delinquent. How can you justify that when your clientele are most likely millionaires and billionaires? I guess people with oil money must be really dumb with it?

thevoxdeus really common in India as well. 40-45% is the norm (yearly). My Amex here charges 41%, which is lowest among my cards.

About how the card look, bare in mind that gold and diamonds are less expensive in Dubai because of cheaper labor than the US and more readily available.

The Dubai Royale looks like the most useless card anyone would want to get. If you have such an amount of money and cash to spend, you can get an exclusive personal assistant to take care of managing your transactions instead of getting this card and whatever personalized services it offers. I am not that rich, but if I ever become one, I wont' be so foolish to apply for an useless card like this. However, I do find your other videos useful and I am also trying to build my credit profile. Just that I am not in US and so sometimes your specific recommendations are not relevant to me but I am learning a lot about credit cards from you.

Chester Foster Lol. People with the Dubai First Royale can buy the Centurion Lounge. You are over-hyping a Lounge that is crowded and loud like 90% of the time, offer food that is similar to a 3 star buffet, and Costco-level wine. Have you ever been to a Centurion Lounge? Its not luxurious at all. Its quite cheap. Check the Point Guys Review on the world's more exclusive and luxury lounges; the Centurion Lounge is not on there. Which is funny because AMEX markets that lounge like it should be on there. The problem with the Centurion Lounge is that it lacks exclusivity. A poor scrub (myself included) can get into a Centurion Lounge, which is pretty insulting to Centurion users.

How are people hating on this card when they probably can’t even get the Gold AMEX lol

Lol. Its so true. People are hating on the Dubai First Royale when they can't even qualify for the AMEX Gold. They are also over-hyping the AMEX Plat as well when the AMEX Plat is as common as a Toyota Corolla. I'm an AMEX Plat holder and the AMEX community have tons of fanboys. Quite a bit of them think the AMEX brand is luxury. I mean - check the Centurion Lounge. Its crowded like a zoo majority of them with Costco-level wine; definitely luxury. /sarcasm.

Look at the Lycan Hypersport supercar, sub par engineering but they put diamonds in the headlights... lol! And I disagree with you, the Amex platinum gives great value, get rid of yours if you dont agree.

It makes benefits better and perks better for everyone. Dubai trying to outdo everything can make AMEX do the Centurion better. Are you against competition? Who said the AMEX Plat isn't good value? I never said that. I said the AMEX Plat is not an exclusive card like majority of the population makes it out to be. AMEX Plat can be give to anyone starting at an income of 25K+. My recent college graduate friend works at a grocery store has one.

That really depends on geographic location. In certain cities, lower middle class ends at $250k/year. For example, in San Francisco, some jobs pay $80-100k for a the exact job that only pays $40-50k in LA 😭😭😭
