Also, from a moto vlogging setup, there is a guy who uses the Go 2 and a separate audio recorder on the bike, his channel is Marc Travels. I personally am too lazy to sync audio, but I guess there is always a work around.

I like the free frame. Being able to use footage for both horizontal and vertical video is clutch in content creation.

I dropped GoPro a few years ago and switched to Insta360 cameras and have been very happy with both my OneRS for helmet mount and the One X2 for motorcycle mount. They just work and have never failed me. I wished the desktop app was easier to work with but I use my iPad most of the time anyway. Any fine tuning for KZread vids I use Final Cut Pro until @insta360 can compete with it. As an aspiring/new ADV rider I enjoy your content!

Just bought one for my upcoming PDX to Canada and around trip.

No - it's the Go 3S. Significant improvement in image quality, not just the upgrade to 4K.

Clicked the link to support your channel and buy one but unfortunatly they only had the 64Gb versions. Guess they sold out on 128Gb and I have to wait.

I'm glad GoPro has some solid competition the last few years. I've never owned a GoPro that I was happy with. Others, even the cheap Chinese cameras, at least were reliable, I never had any glitching, lost files, corrupted SD cards or overheating problems, all of which I had with GoPros. GP had the stabilization better than others but that seems to not be an issue anymore. I don't own any GPs anymore, I have a DJI and some Insta360 cams and they're all solid. I'll have to check out the Go 3.

Please do a video on your complete setup.

great review. My ever frustrating GoPro jumped off my bike on my last trip, whereabouts unknown. This will replace it and improve my ability to share my riding with my non-riding friends. One question, what Alpinestars jacket are you wearing and what are your thoughts on it?

Agreed on it being a good B Camera. The pod as a controller/monitor seems pretty cool. How fast does it download footage compared to a UHS-II card?

A little slower than just a card plugged into the computer but the same speed as if you plugged any other camera into the computer via USB.

@Dorkintheroad Can you pls strap this to your head when you are working on trail clearing etc around your property? Extra content.

Hello, you say the magnet of clip mount is not strong, the magnet of pendant is strong. I am going to take rafting with Insta360 Go 3. Which mount should I use ? Any suggestion ? Thanks

Are you using the inst360 cameras only ?

So have you tried mounting it INSIDE the helmet (for a day at the track on a supersport - anyone done this) ? Cant have anything mounted to outside of helmet, and any external bike mounted camera must be safety wired - anybody done track days with this?

@DorkintheRoad I am ready to buy new gear, would you buy/recommend the MSR Xplorer set or this Bogota? I get MSR is Waterproof & Bogota can be with the liner (pros/cons to each). The THING that I am noticing on your videos is that you are rocking the BOGOTA gear AND NOT the MSR Xplorer gear. That tells me that you prefer the Bogota...

Cool but $400 and no memory card or external mic option. Hmmmm, can’t do it but I see how it might be useful. Great video though.

Needs SD card and Bluetooth mic support. Looks awesome otherwise.

On the action cam mount, does the cam clip in or is it still magnetic?

Dear Ben. I was just about to buy an Insta 360 one rs because you recommended it. I’m preparing for a round the world trip and I would like to record it and put together little 3 minute clips for friends and family. I don’t want to become a vlogger. I plan to chin mount it to my helmet and I will edit everything on my iPhone on the road. Most of all I want hassle free reliability. Is the one RS still the one to buy?? Cheers mate.

If you're gonna be on the road that long memory space is a concern. The One RS will let you swap out memory cards, which might be an advantage

They do pretty different things. It's more like a less powerful version of the One RS with the 4k lens
