Great video as always! I would love to see some different tests on how long the battery last with different scenarios. And about how big the file sizes are to decide on what size purchase.

Thanks for mentioning the overheating issue. Noone else has.

Is the Go 3's magnet pendant compatible with the Go 2? I have a Go 2, and the magnet pendant with the angled adjustment attachment would be a major accessory upgrade for it.

at about 2:10, you'd mentioned about overheat on car dashoard. can you please elaborate a bit more about that event & condition? like, ambient temperature, recording time, recording mode. I mean, if the condition may not be similar to what I planned to use it for, I might still consider to get one. May be in a few months though, wait for some real user issue to come up.

How long do you film until GO3 overheats? Cuz the GO 2 overheats in 15 minutes and then its useless till cool down...

in normal temperatures, the go3 wont overheat. But it still can, for example in direct sunlight without air movement on a darker floor or so

I bought the Insta360 Go 2 more than 2 months ago. I am just wondering if it fits and if it is compatible with the Action Pod of Insta360 Go 3?

Always wanted to try one of these but having a pacemaker and it having really strong magnets make it a no go for me :(

Wow I thought it was a lawnmower during the cicadas buzzing. Weather looks nice where you are, looks like for me in Singapore the overheating will still be an issue

Great review. With regards to the upgrade in resolution, the Go2 resolution is 1440P: 2560x1440, where the Go3 is 2.7K: 2720x1536, only a 13% increase which I know that I couldn't tell the difference. I have been a very active user and ambassador of the Go2, however I am very disappointed that Insta360 hasn't taken advantage of this opportunity and made a REAL video resolution upgrade to 4K. Nice flip screen and better battery, but not enough for me to fork out more money for a system with what I consider 'nice to have but not essential' extras.

Can i use it as a webcam?

Insta360 I waited this long for the Go 3 to come out & it's a little underwhelming. Why are we paying more for the same resolution? Why isn't it in 4K? I Love the new preview pod but couldn't the camera sit further in to it to protect the lense that now sticks out. And why isn't black an option? All this would of made the Go 3 which I was waiting for an option. Guess I'll wait til the Go 4 now. 😥

Why you need 4k for such a camera at first place ? Secondly, even technically ir makes much sense, since storage would be one issue, and overheating another. In video was mentioned that it still overheats even without 4k. So your expectations is not realistic

2.7k resolution and low light performance is not quite there imo. I’ll wait for go4 :)

You lost me when you said it overheats. I was about to buy one to do livestreams to my KZread channel which is all about traveling on ev cars. So, I didn’t even bother to watch the rest. Keep up the good work.

Same here. This is the reason why almost never using my go2. Nice toy, but not a thing on which you can relay

I’ll stick with the go2. I’d only upgrade if it shot 4K
