I love this card. Not only is there no limit, they also do not exclude getting gas from Sam's Club. American Express excludes gas from Sam's, which defeats the benefit since gas is usually much cheaper there. I only use the card where I get full advantage of the 3% cash back, and use Wells Fargo Active Cash for most other categories.

I actually agree that it's nice WF doesn't exclude competitor grocery chains for the 3x. If you use Costco for the gas 4x at grocery chain gas stations, you only get 1x.. learned the hard way. I only use Costco Visa only at Costco gas. I use WF autograph to get gas if I have to get it at grocery gas stations.

@@geo5106I do! I use the Citi Custom Cash and get 5% back there. Citi codes Sam’s Club gas stations as gas and not wholesale clubs. It technically beats the Costco card. I live closer to Sam’s, plus the lines are shorter than Costco-- it’s a mad house at all times! 😮

Do you insert the card or use the app? The Flex and Discover get the bonus if you insert the card, but not if you pay in the app

It will be one of the best travel cards in 2024.

UPDATE: Seems like notices have been sent stating the updated are coming in December 2023, I'll keep everyone updated on my end

You can use the points to book a flight. You can use the cash back to cover the other taxes/fees of the ticket

I have this card as a result of a product change from Active Cash. At present, I only use it for charging my cell phone bill. That's it. Does this offer any travel protections like travel accident insurance etc.?

You can already transfer your cash back from the Active Cash to the Autograph Card. People with both cards have already confirmed this.

Finally a card I can use for gas to fill up my rental car overseas.

Should I get the active cash or the autograph? If I get autographs I won't get triple points in 2 bills, but if I get active cash it's double for everything. Difference of $300. On autograph 1X - on active cash that $300 doubles

I've never had a credit card before. I have an alright credit score and I applied for this card. I'm hoping that I get approved, but I'm waiting to hear back. I work for a car rental business and am hoping to use this card alongside my employee discount to rent and rack up points. fingers crossed.

They said since i dont bank with them, havent had a card before, and that had apparently applied for a card in the last 3 months (which i had not applied for a card in over 3 years). I requested a reconsideration. and was still declined for the same reason. Now there was a fraudulent card that someone attempted to open in my name at capital one 2 months prior, but i caught that early on and reported it. So wellsfargo must not care that that wasnt me.

Hi, I am turning 18 very soon, and I want to apply for this because of the cashback benefits, no annual fee, and no foreign transaction fee, as I am traveling internationally soon. However, I bank with Chase in a college checking account right now. Given that I do not have a checking account with Wells Fargo, and am applying for my first credit card, will I have a good chance of being approved?

Product changed to this from the active cash which was my first card, hopefully it’s travel partners slap cause rn it doesnt do much in any travel setup.

I can’t get approved for anything Wells Fargo otherwise I would have it over my chase sapphire preferred

I applied for this card yesterday definitely really excited to see if Im accepted

@@KingGreen78I didn’t because I had to clear some information. Tbh it was a day of hustling with the customer service but after everything I was approved and I got the card Thursday which was supper exciting. This is my second card (first Discover it) and Im going to see how it goes.

I came to a different conclusion, I love to save money, which is why I reduced my monthly Restaurant, Travel, Streaming, and Phone Plans spend to less than $25/month each, So I think this card appeals more to people who like to spend money

Well personally I don't spend anything on Transit, I think this cards 3% for Gas is good, From my perspective I think people that love to save money can find it easy to spend less than caps mentioned in the video For example, I usually advocate for the Amex BCE, it gives 3% Grocery and 3% Online shopping, I do think its online shopping category does also encourage more spending, so it takes intentionality to use it more for necessary spend that one may not choose to get at a grocery store, such as shoes, clothes, higiene products, etc etc, things the likes of Walmart, Amazon, and Target sell I use a Citi Custom Cash for 5% on gas, I don't naturally spend more than $500/month or $6000/year on gas so it works for me

Yeah I got what you mean, if you want a single card setup that will not incentivise more spending and still giving great points is the Citi Double Cash, and to add a slight bit complexity, but not really, pair it with the custom cash and only spend on something that is essential like groceries or gas

I didn't really call anything optional or mandatory My stance is more like, 3% cashback on a $25 phone bill is $0.75 2% cashback on the same bill is $0.50 The unspoken part is, I don't think most people want to optimize every category they spend in, because they would be running around with a binder full of cards, so when making a value judgement about which cards to prioritize getting, Then the phone category on this one adds $0.25/month of value (over any 2% card) on their expected return if they are spending $25/month, or if they spend more than $25/month on their phone bill they now have the knowledge that they can reduce their bill to $25/month by switching to a MVNO, anything they do with that information is up to them. As someone that loves saving all I can say I ended up switching phone plans, keeping my existing 2% card, and prioritizing cashback in other areas

All credit cards are overrated.

You missing out on BILT by waiting for a SUB that probably wont come. The Bilt card is very easy to earn points quick.
