About Vantastic: We are a happy couple who got rid of everything to travel the world. We make vlogs sharing our daily lives in a camper van, our ups and downs, and our adventures around Europe.
What camera equipment do you use?
We use GoPro10, Røde VideoMicro with a dead kitten, Ulanzi tripod mt-16, Ulanzi cage G9, Ulanzi vl49 light, DJ Mavic Pro drone and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the vlogs. Our electrical power set-up in our camper van allows charging our camera and laptops to film and edit.
What is your van?
Our camper van is Fiat Ducato 2015, Adria Twin conversion panel van. We have done only minor upgrades and mods to our camper van, we pretty much love it as it is.
How do you afford your nomadic lifestyle?
We live on a true shoestring budget. We travel economically, we cook all our meals, we dont visit tourist traps, we enjoy being in the nature and hiking in the nature. We worked traditional office jobs for years and now we live on our savings and investments. We dont believe you need tons of money to to pursue your passion. However, we have learned that you do need to sacrifice comfort, consistency and safety, but that it is possible, very worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes us truly happy!

We havent even been on the mountains yet, that will be the "summer adventure".
So nice ! Natura 2000 protects from humans, let's see if it protects from mining companies... Have to keep these areas in mind, if I could visit next winter ...😊

Its still spring time and the UV index luckily is kind of low, i think it was 2-3 that day. Yeah, when the summer is closer i will bring my UV shirt everywhere.

Its really hard to find ugly places in Greece, most of our friends are always falling love to Greece and never go to Spain ever again.

You got in before me! 😂 I remember a teacher in school telling us how to remember and he used that precise analogy 😂😂😂 (It was an all-boys Catholic School😂😂😂) and I still remember the tights coming down = stalactites. What a wonderfully uplifting video. I was anxious watching you walk along the wall-of-death but I have enormous admiration and respect for your commitment to self-responsibility and this is a philosophy I subscribe to. Whoa, some of those camera shots on top the castle made me dizzy - also developing fear of heights as I get older. For slow travels, how often do you move in the van? In US, you can stay in same area for 14 days, but then I have to move about 60 km to new area. But I find I move van 3-5 days for services and exploring - often return to same area, but not always parking in same spot. However many in US haul around very big caravans and stay in same spot for the whole season (ignoring the 14 day rule).

We are at one place 1-40 days depends on many factors. Salanti beach was so secluted and peaceful place that we could easily be there for longer period of time, but i think average is around 4 days.
