Thank you! I don't remember exactly but I believe we booked it maybe 1-2 days in advance? It's possible to book online and also in person at any tour operator booths in Thira or Oia

Definitely one that should be high on the bucket list!

The road from an independent, proud bastion of Greek culture to a mobbed Eastern Disneyland was begun with the construction of the cable car. What happened after this was inevitable.

This trip was 5 nights 6 days. It was amazing. You could likely do everything we did in 3-4 days, but I'd recommend 5 nights, it felt like the perfect length for this island

Thira is the actual name of the island. So oia is on thira and you cant hike between as you already are there. There is a town called fira which is what i hope you meant.

Oh god..I'm a greek, and even I didn't even notice that he wrote "th" instead of "f". They sound the same anyways..and it's obvious that he means the town, not the island 🤦

@nataliami1777 it sounded like he said fira then spelled thira like he was trying to cover his bases because he didn't know why. Either way if your going to make a video and pretend to be an expert you would think you would pull up google maps.

Fair enough. I have a handful of travel guides and top 10s on the channel, all at different paces. It seems that the majority of viewers like it this way, but I understand if it’s not your favorite. I hope some part of you liked the video however!
