Is This The Holy Grail For Thin Hair? | Dragons' Den Canada

Ex Flight Attendant turned entrepreneur, Brenda Martin, is next to brave The Den with her Creative Hair Solutions company. Brenda is seeking 200K and is offering a 40% stake in her business.
While the Dragons are impressed with Brenda's selling skills, they are worried that her actual sales does not merit a half-a-million-dollar valuation. But one dragon is prepared to offer her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

*If she had the patent for these (not discussed) she would be worth 15-20 mill $ by now, they are everywhere.* I bought a couple a few years back on ebay. If she _didn't_ have a patent she still would be wealthy but I really hope she protected her invention worldwide.

You know what would be nice? These episodes are from 10 to 15 years ago. It would be nice if you could include a "whatever happened to _______?" comment so that we'd know whether or not the business actually succeeded.

@@wayne6777 I’ve used the “free healthcare”. It’s junk! Most operations require a specialist that you have to pay for.. I now pay $200 a month for insurance that is 100% covered for most medical bills, 80% for dental, and 1500 a year for vision… only a $500 deductible and no network.. I can literally go where I need to get treatment. Your “free” healthcare is limited in options and obviously not free.

@@wayne6777 That was not my experience at all when I lived in Saskatchewan. Two different ER visits with one life threatening and we waited 4 hours to see a surgeon. The other one was my cousin needing a procedure for diabetes. Waited 6 months and the surgery was postponed. They had to go to the US to have the procedure done. They mentioned that he probably would have need a full leg amputation if they waited for the postponed date. That was in 2015.

@@wayne6777 I’m sorry you must be watching some pretty left wing news if you think ppl are regularly getting shot at grocery stores. There is gang activity sure but the % of shootings from actual homicide is tiny! The defensive use of firearms are between 1-3 million per year. I will keep a firearm by my side in case I ever need it. Better have it and not need it than need it and not have it.. just like your health insurance. I’m sure the 10+ that were just mass murdered with a knife in Canada would have loved to have had the upper hand in that fight with a firearm.
