I've got the Cuyana structured tote and love it. I've also got the organizer that goes in it. Best tote ever! I've used it daily for work and it only shows minimal wear. Thanks for showing us the System Tote!! I'll have to check it out!

Hi Teresa! My pleasure! I've used the 13" bag for a week now and am really enjoying how functional it is. And it looks cute, the light stone color really grew on me. Don't think I'll be adding more accessories, but am eyeing the canvas tote now. oops! haha

Cute!! I own a YSL tote bag and purchased the Cuyana insert and I love it! Great quality, durable and functional. Great choice!

I am so glad to hear that! The laptop sleeve serves its purpose well and I've used it to transport papers and cards, items that shouldn't be bent. It works well for that. I think it's a brilliant accessory.

Nice system! I love your new tote! I love the shade. The system is well thought out. The smaller size is perfect for you. I don’t know if you already have your baby bag but I used a Burberry tote - classic checker canvas outer with contrasting leather handles solidly sewn top to bottom on the outer canvas, suede interior, middle zippered partition, outer pocket for phone, inner zippered pockets on each side, etc. One side was for diapers, wipes, bottle, toys, change of clothes, etc. The other was all mine and could accommodate a 20” laptop. I still have it - a stain in one side is a reminder that my 6’1” guy was once a baby. Cheers!

Thank you Jocelyne! I took the tote with me on a trip and it has served its purpose well so far. I don’t have to be too precious with it and it looks/feels like it can take a beating! I have not chosen a baby bag. I was looking at Chloe’s but figured I would much rather get a Woody Tote instead. I will look at the Burberry one! Awww I didn’t realize your baby is all grown up. Your bag has a story to tell. 😍

Thanks for sharing, Susan! I wondered how popular their bags are since I’ve never heard or seen an ad of theirs. Currently on a trip and I have this bag. It’s understated, but feels nice to the touch and definitely not cheap. I kind want to get a tote organizer for days when I am not carrying a laptop. And thank you, we are excited! We tried for a while.

Hi Michi! Thank you for the honest review and pointing out the difference in colors between reality and the website. I tried the Ecru color and I was first super disappointed because I thought it would be a true white but it was actually very yellowish. I ended up loving it anyway but I still wish they were a bit more true to reality on their website :)

I know right? They can tone down the exposure and brightness a tad so we can see the colors better. The bags are beautiful as they are. I was curious about Ecru. Saw the strap during the archive sale. Thanks for letting me know it’s more a cream undertone!!

I took this bag on a trip and it’s been really working out. Not so precious I can’t set it down anywhere, but nice enough to go with the outfits. 😊

I wear a puffer jacket in the winter and am able to put the handles over my shoulder, but it does take a bit longer to get the entire handle over the thickest part of the arm! Updated review will be up on Friday! Thank you!!

Hi Michi, great review. Wonder if you can do an updated review? I've heard the bag is floppy. How are you finding the laptop sleeve. Is it useful? I've heard some had to purchase the organizer to keep the shape up and use the laptop sleeve in the organizer instead. Did you also end up getting the larger strap? Or do you think the strap accessory is unnecessary? Tx for your review as it seems there aren't too. many reviews online just yet!

Thanks Clara! I’ve preparing to film an update. I do find the laptop sleeve useful for other stuff besides laptops. I didn’t pick up a strap, because the handle is roomy and does the job for what I need. I think the strap would be more useful if you take the bag for trips. Stay tuned for the rest of the answers in the update!

Thanks for doing such a great and thorough review! How are the strings holding up on the smaller bag? I heard that these bags have issues with the stitching....as you also pointed out on your bigger bag. Thanks so much!

Yes, I believe so! Are you referring to the pouches or the small tote organizer? I wasn't able to find the purse organizer on their website. I do think as long as the organizer measurement is smaller than the System bag, it should work. The Tumi I have seems to be a discontinued style. The closest I found is the Clare Double Zip Brief bit.ly/3u33aYE while, it looks more like the Cleary Weekender when it comes to the inside compartments. bit.ly/3bs3vxD

Thanks for the review. Do these bags stand up on their own or do they fall over, or lean a lot? I've had my eye on them for a while, but prefer something a bit more structured.

They stand up if you have items in it to give it a base, but not the most structured bag and this style tends to fall over, because of it’s softness.

Hi there! I do feel the 16” is too big for what I needed. It fit my 13” work laptop with ease but when I didn’t need to bring the laptop home which is most of the time, I had all this unused space.

Might I ask, size of your MacBook? My wife’s is a 16 inch and I’m worried that it would not fit into the insert.

She will need the larger 16" insert. The one I ended up with is the smalle 13" in which fits my smaller Mac perfectly.

I’ve used it every day for work and some weekend errands. My favorite parts about the bag is it’s not heavy to begin with and you don’t have to be very precious with the bag. It is a trusted workhorse (so far) that looks and feels classy. What color do you have your eye on?

I travel a ton for work and i like that I can just take the sleeve our for laptop and supernote and go to a meeting ang it would be polished.

@@ulrikeklein6796 The laptop sleeve that goes with the 13" tote does not fit my work laptop, but I put it vertically and it's fine for a trip to and from work. It fits my MAC perfectly though. The seasonal red looks great. I have a feeling the shade will be deeper in person from what I've experienced. I wish we had a store here! They have put out 2-3 bag releases since I got the tote.

@@MichiMakesUp I purchased the seasonal red and am impressed with the quality of the leather and such. Also got the wide strap....the computer sleeve is great. Definitely considering adding a second neutral eventually if this one holds up well :) Thanks for this excellent review.

Hi Dasol! It will fit the 13” macbook and possibly 14”. I have a bigger work laptop and it doesn’t fit. I do still use my laptop insert (also from Cuyana) and put the big laptop in vertically. Hope that helps!

does this fit apple’s 14” macbook?

The 13” will not fit the 14” but the bigger size will!

Bought 16” version tote with laptop sleeves and extra pocket - totally regret it in several ways: 1.) with the inserts the bag is super heavy even without things in it; 2.) not suitable for people living in cold weather as the handle is NOT long enough for thick coats; 3.) the add ons don’t buckle up tightly resulting in detaching when you take things in and out. It’s more a gimmick than anything practical… sadly.

The 16” can be heavy. I shared this in the video if I remember correctly. If you are not happy with the purchase, definitely reach out to customer service. They are responsive and helpful. The buckle should hold on to attachments tightly. I have not had issues with my laptop sleeve staying buckled.

Yes, has density to it for sure.

Why leather though where 1. there is VEGAN leather and 2. a nylon one would hold better and more :D

Unfortunately, vegan goods are all made from plastic. This includes nylon with cotton/hemp specific canvas being an exception. I have put continuous thought into this area this actually. I think given what is available to consumers today, decreased thoughtful consumption is the best solution.
