I got a Cuyana bag - the same model as you, the straps of mine got unstitched pretty quickly (maybe I got a defective bag, idk). I reached out and they are sending me a new one as a replacement. However this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and now I am kind of worried if I fill the bag up too much it will happen again (which shouldn't happen since the purpose of a tote is to bring more stuff with us). If the bag gets to be unstitched again, I will distance myself from the brand. Their motto is "fewer, better", but if the bag gets to be in a bad shape after 1 month of use, I think they are a little hypocrite and just want to "green wash". I don't think we should lower our standards, even if an item is in a "lower" price range. We should respect our hard-earned money. Anyway, just wanted to leave my 2 cents.

I had the same issue. Also don't bother with their SLGs I invested in a few of those a few years back and leather flaked off. Threw them out

LOVE Cuyana! I rotate between the small & large structured totes and the system tote for my work bags. Daily use for years & they’re all in perfect condition. The tote inserts are well worth it ❤❤❤

It’s such a beautiful bag!! Love the color….I recently ordered the Longchamp La Pliage City shoulder tote in coated canvas (taupe) for few upcoming flight trips….will see how it is when I get it….I am glad you are showing us different brands!!

So pretty 😍 I’m soooo over monogram bags! However, I do love monogram SLG’s.

I bought my Cuyana Tote (classic structured tote) way back in 2018 I think (or earlier). The bag itself has held up quite nicely for me. I use it as my gym bag because I tend to just stuff it all in with my gym essentials. Never had any issues with it. The bag has held up quite nicely considering I just toss it around and don’t really pay that much attention but I’m very impressed with the quality. I also have a few other SLGs (pouches) from them that held up nicely. I also got the leather organizer for the tote that I never use because it’s quite heavy but no issues with quality whatsoever. I’m really hoping that they didn’t change their quality over the years because I was considering revisiting their pieces especially after watching your videos on understated luxury ❤

Great product review! Getting ready to order this Cuyana ... would like to know exact Zoomoni Chanel Deuville Tote Organizer you used here in this video. This purse is lovely but indeed needs a stabilizer/organizer for my life. Thank you.

Thanks for this video. I'm considering the tall easy tote now. I'd like to know if you know whether the easy tote will lose it's shape over time so that it'll eventually look too sloppy without an organizer.

That tote is so nice. I’ve had my Cuyana tote so long that it came with an unfinished top & only has one handle. I’ll have to check their website out again.

I have a cuyana and I enjoy it. Mine didn’t come with a box though. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s still holding strong. I’m interested in one of their newer models that you can add a crossbody strap. I think it’s the system tote.

I recently bought Cuyana zipper card holder in hopes that it would be a good alternative to Chloe Alphabet zipper card holder. The leather was nice but it was very thin and it came with the product tag (that's thick) in one of the card slots, which stretched out the slot. So I was disappointed and ended up returning it. Glad this tote worked out for you!

I’m still in awe that you are able to keep your nails so flawless … with non gel regular polish and with 2 kids 😳 where do you find the time to paint and dry them? Cute bag ❤

Oh gosh, thank you. I’ve painted my nails on camera before - takes me no more than 10 minutes 😂 so it’s not a big commitment. Quick dry top coat helps a lot to speed up the drying too. But honestly, if you look very closely, there are days when my nails are dry and chipped just like anyone else! 😅

When you purchased that tote it came inside the cuyana box or was it extra to get the box? Curious because some unboxings it came only with dustbag and some came with dustbag packaged inside box.

The polar blue and milkshake pink colors are everything.

Thank you for the review! Fell in love with the bag from your video. Considering buying the zipper version. I am just super torn whether to get the classic or small size. I can’t determine from the dimensions which would be better. I’m afraid the classic would look too big on me (i’m around 5ft). What do you think?

I vote for the small size! I’m 5’6” and really enjoy the small size. It’s really not that small at all!

Hi there! I just received the very same bag and guess what? It does not smell like leather!! At all!!! In fact it had a very distinct chemical smell like whatever they treated it with or sprayed in it or something… and it’s not just a minimal odor- it stays around! It’s s weird I don’t know what to do because like you I love ❤️ that true leather smell and it’s just here w this bag! So I’m thinking of emailing them just to ask. As for duyp leather does that have a good leather smell? Thanks for knowledge!

This reminds me of the viral Amazon tote from a few years ago. Only 2 straps but very similar style. This real leather version is nice🎉

i'm a new subscriber but have been watching a lot of your videos, and you've inspired me to check out many of the less expensive brands. after seeing your vids, i've been debating between the Ateliers Auguste Monceau Gold Edition vs the APC bag. may i ask, in terms of leather between the Ateliers Auguste and the APC bag, which one have you found to be more durable/scratch resistant? thank you!

I’d say the APC leather is less prone to scratches than the Ateliers Auguste gold edition. My mini Monceau in the cream color is just fine but the black one I have in the gold edition has shinier leather and I can tell it will be more vulnerable to scratches. Hope this helps!

Hi Hannah, thanks for the great review. Question for you on your collab with DUYP - I purchased both the mini and medium pochettes (first round of launch) and I'm please with the leather quality. However, the zippers are really finicky and difficult to open/close. Is it possible to use better quality zippers for future products? I'm not using both items due to the zippers ... 😞

I don’t own the Neverfull but I’ve tried it on in the mm size. I’d say this Cuyana tote is quite light, probably bc it has no added lining. It doesn’t feel heavy at all when I carry it around and I’m pretty sensitive to weight. Hope this helps !

Oh wow..great review. Just checked the price is around $250. Still too expensive for me. But niiiice bag

Would be interesting to find out what leather this is and what the finish is exactly (full grain or treated with acrylic). l like the two options for the varied length of handles, and its simple minimalist design. Agree on adding a magnetic closure - that would be ideal. I’d put a thin maybe 1.2 mm felt bag insert/organiser to provide some structure, but keep it still lightweight. I wouldn’t risk my laptop in it as the bag won’t give enough protection to the laptop in case of the dreaded fall. The leather looks really supple but I’m doubtful if it’s hard wearing. Time will tell, we will see wear and tear in the future.

Good point. A laptop may be too heavy for this bag. I did test out an organizer insert towards the end of the video. Hope it’s helpful.

Great bag and review! Lack of any form of closure, unfortunately, is a dealbreaker for me. Beautiful leather though.

I actually really like the cappuccino color because it’s such a soft neutral. But then again, I have several other caramel toned bags so maybe that’s why I appreciate this slightly different shade. If you want the darker color, go for it! They’re both beautiful.
