Is This The Best Forest Drive In England?
One of my all time riding locations when I just want to ride and chill out with no pressure whilst taking in the beautiful area and stunning scenery.
If you’ve ever wanted to try some ‘off-road’ riding you won’t go far wrong with this route and it’s used by many first time off road riders because it’s so forgiving.

Watching from my tent, again. Had to go back home after only a day and a half as my tablet had water issues then didnt have the memory or Ram or speed or something to push the osmand gps app - home bought a more powerfull 3 and left again this morning. Great day great tracks great campsite also 6 euros a night!! If all goes to plan ill be watching your next ride from tent again next friday 👍

That’s a shame, you said in your email it had been a bit wet and the tablet wasn’t charging. Six Euro’s is unbelievably good value for money, some of the campsites here even out of season are £20! Enjoy the rest of your adventures and we’ll catch up when you get back. 👍

Great video Steve. Pity I was working that day. And also a bit far it would have been. But wow looks like a great ride. Hopefully some time soon be able to join you. It’s waiting to get the bike booked in for first 600 mile service.

It was about a three hour drive each way for me but I don’t mind the sacrifice for such a great area. 👍

@@701Adventures yes after I get this service done it would be better for me. I hate that first 600 miles. I’ve got 100 left. But I’m waiting to get it booked in for a service. I have plotted a route around Buxton I might do this Saturday… It’s around 25 miles after I get there..??

Wow, thank you, that’s very kind of you. It’s a very tame route is the forest drive but it’s enjoyable. Remind me whereabouts you are as I’m possibly planning a ride this Sunday if you’re local and fancy joining me and one other. 👍
