Iconic Bikers Cafe Destroyed By Fire to Finally Re-Open
In this video I ride up to The Pennines to visit the former site of Hartside Cafe before having lunch with a mate at the nearby Nook Cafe. The roads and scenery are spectacular in this region and worthy of a visit at any time. I bring you great news about the former cafe at Hartside Summit as it appears that it is going to be rebuilt after planning has finally been approved.

Hiya Steve...it was great to meet again and have a chin wag and catch up, it's been too long so we must meet again before too long...as you know I've visited Hartside Summit many many times over the years but wasn't aware of the latest developments regarding a 're-development'....BTW the Silver car in the field at around the 5 minute point of the film has been there for months and months ..having lived (until recently) at the bottom of the hill I have seen it many times, I'm surprised it hasn't been shifted by now ...any way once again we will catch up again soon mate ...oh BTW my new bike is a Honda NX500 as I no longer own a Kawasaki Versys 650 ...ta ra for now !

I got confused I thought you still had the Kawasaki, I can’t keep up with all your bike changes. Yes I agree, it was great to have a catch up and let’s not forget they do now do chips! 🍟 👍
i passed the nook on thursday morn on my way back home from a mini tour through the lakes and borders, and missed it as i didnt realise it was there, pity really as i was due a break, but anyway, it's noted for next time as i'm often in the area, so thanks
