That fact that you JUST hit 100k astounds me. You're seriously underrated, man. You're the schecter of KZreadrs, low subs, high quality
That was one of my favorite demo tracks I have heard in your channel. I always enjoy them but whatever that guitar brought out of your hands was super fun to listen to on this one. 🤘🏻

I am so glad you showed us behind the pickguard. I've been looking at these guitars for a while and this has really helped me make make my decision!
8:54 I was not expecting to hear some bowling for soup
just realized that there aren’t any Les Pauls in the Agufish intro, this is a travesty
Some say a dark-eyed, nubile girl preferential to nibbles and fine fretting takes over his days, but she's dead set against pinch harmonics and shredding because a good downbeat will lead to a shattering climax. And his attachment to roasted maple has made it all the way to the syrup on his pancakes, but he hasn't made the leap of logic to mahogany. The man! The Legend! Der Fish!
haha, accidental triple discord notification gang! EDIT: Looks like a quadruple! EDIT 2: Quintuple! IDK what's going on with the bot XD

i love the bowling for soup riff in the clean demos!
Bowling for agufish. Seems like an interesting concept and something fun to mess around with. Dig all of the colors and tones /effects you used.
I’d hardly call the demo track bizarre honestly, I thought it was amazing. The rest of your demo tracks are spot on also.
Been following this project closely, so I really appreciate your honesty about it!
Hands down, my favorite of your demo tracks. Completely sick. My use case for this would be as the ultimate gig insurance… bring this as a backup guitar, and it’s also your backup pedalboard. Hell, if your amp went down you could just go direct to the desk, and there’s your whole rig. I wonder if that audio cutout at bootup is also there when switching presets, though… that could be a problem.
Cool idea, personally I'd like a guitar with a built-in drop pedal
Have been looking forward towards learning about this guitar. It’s like a variax and hx effects in one

I loved how he had his first reaction right before the badass intro
Love how you busted out the bowling for soup riffs lol
Congrats on 100K subs

Cool step forward in guitar technology
8:53 Girl All The Bad Guys Want!
Needs some perfection to use it on live gig. For me, that's the aim on building this kind of guitar. The time gaps on the vol is the main problem, when it's fixed, it'll be a good for a live gig
This looks like it would be fun to play with and might really be a great recording instrument. I probably won’t use it live for gigs but my live rig is a guitar and amp you could have bought new in 1960, I even used a tube echoplex and reverb unit before I got tired of lugging around the extra weight. I’ve went to “modern” 70’s analog effects. I love modern technology for recording and at home though. Yeah I guess I’m weird.
Enjoy! I love mine

They should make drop in pickguards with this stuff ngl, I'd buy the hell out of that
thank you you were the only review i saw that included the teardown.
I got one of these a few weeks ago. The FX are ok, but I don't use them that much. I like the plexi model, so I use that. I set up 4 basic amp/drive tones and use an external delay/reverb pedal when I go direct. That works great for a lightweight flyrig. What really amazes me though is how nice this guitar plays. It's worth getting one even if you never use the FX processor. I'm tempted to get a 2nd one just because I like the actual guitar so much.
8:54 wow I haven't heard that lick in a long time. Now I really need to go back to bowling for soup
Considering dimensions of the circuit board in a helix, kemper and the like, I'm shocked it hasn't happened sooner.
Happy Friday indeed.
Ok, this thing is cool in theory, but I have a few questions! 1) How soon will you do a pickup swap? 2) are you locked into an HSS or can you swap in any pickup arrangement without ruining the functionality? 3) Will new pickups ruin it's ability to simulate other guitar types? Would it improve? 4) would it be possible/worth it to pull the hardware out of this and drop it into any other guitar 5) would I be able to buy just the hardware if I wanted to do #4?
I totally dig the concept.

Wow, some Bowling For Soup love! Nice.
Bit late but have you seen the new squier affinities? The tele deluxe in burgundy mist looks pretty sick and could be a great mod platform
I'll stick with my Variaxe. 🎶🎸
Hunter my guy. What the everloving heck is this thing, and where can I get 4
tbh, effects and built in stuff aside, I think it just looks really good also what my man dom telonge doing at 9:42?
Did I hear a little American Football/Tiny Moving Parts inspired riff at 7:00? My man is becoming CULTURED!
2:30 the "big yellow warning sticker" says: removing the pick guard or the "intelligence box" can cause product malfunctions.(which you have already done) :)
Thanks for marking it as sponsored, it gives you more credibility than other tubers.
I like these budget guitars that do some weird/interesting/cool features.
Hey, how long you can play the guitar till the battery will be discharged ? Could you charge the guitar from the power bank and play simultaneously? Is there any signalization of the empty batery? Could you load in your own IR? How fast is a preset switching? Is the output symetrical ? I am thinking about posibility to play directly to PA with this (pros and cons) ... Thx
I’m wondering if Line 6 will ever do something like this. I have a Helix and a JTV 59 and between those you have a lot of options.

The old variax's used to be very similar originally but it's was early days and I think all the power was in an outboard computer module
@davidstewart4149
Жыл бұрын
@@harry_mair That's not accurate. The old Variaxes--I have the first model--had only guitar models, not effects. Not sure what you mean by "all the power was in an outboard computer module." There was no outboard computer module. It was all inside the guitar. There was a power supply that was outboard, but it was not a computer module and had nothing to do with the guitar modeling.
That Jurassic Park reference was gold!

Great video 👍 if you Would use it into a clean amp and make 4 drive presets, is the delay also when you shift between presets on the footswitch ??
@randomclick2826
2 жыл бұрын
No delay switching between presets. I’ve had one of these two weeks now. The nut is crap the tuning machines are crap but hold tune well enough. The case looks ok but is very flimsy and cheaply made. Everything else however is on par with an American strat in terms of feel and quality. The only reason I’ve not got the nut replaced is I can’t put the thing down. Also I don’t get the buzzing when I charge it. May be because I’m using a U.K. plug and U.K. plugs have better grounding than US ones or maybe they fixed the charging buzz.
A year on, have you done any mods to it? Did opening it up wreck the effects unit, or is that Mooer being overly cautious? I have a vision of transplanting the effects into my favorite Strat. It already has the side-mount jack. I'd have to get a custom pick guard made, but it might be cool.
I'd like to see a more thorough review on the guitar simulation or better yet a comparison to the Variax if possible.
Wanna see you mod this up! Evertune, fishman p90s? SS frets and locking tuners?
It should be really easy to make a switch to bypass the effect while it is on.
I'd still get guitar I like and some multieffect separately. No need to have all the presets/effects behind one button. Paul davids reviewed that new midi guitar recently it was cool consept (but pricey)!
Hi from India! How are you Hunter?
Dude imagine that but modded to the standard of this channel. Better pickups (something clear and neutral) Better bridge Locking tuners Nut by the nutmasters Oof that'd be sick
Since this is a practice guitar with build in multieffect, the basic question is - does the distortion sound good on headphones? If not - in my mind the whole concept will remain just an interesting toy, not a serious alternative for home practice.
Mooer has been on a roll
Great demo. I found the tones lacking overall but who knows what the near future will hold?
I literally just heard about these like 2 days ago lol

Looks so good but I prefer the 801 version which isn't on sale and probably will be priced up compared to indiegogo so idk if it would be worth it for the price at that point. Think I might spend the bit more get a dk24 hss charvel and a fishman triple play
I wonder how would it compare to the Gibson firebird x and josh from jhs jazz master machine he made
Cool.
Que Guitarra maravilhosa ! Manda uma pra mim !!!
This is kinda like that vox that came out a while ago. I cannot see well enough to us apps (I also cannot see what the knobs on my amp) I do like that more guitar stuff as rechargable
so you mean it is not so good in live because you hardly can use its built in effects practically (it turns off)? I am curious of its acoustic guitar sound. Actually it has no guitar synthisizer, right? I can see a downside: the tremolo is the bad old screw in style. How wide is the neck at nut? Tks
Damn! Number 2.
Hunter, I’m gonna be honest, I really think you need to spend more time with this guitar. It’s very cool, but I think once you get it set up and feeling good I think, as a studio tool, you will really like it. It’s kinda like a Line 6 Variax but without the altered tuning. Thing is, it would be a cool studio tool, but because of the fact you could just grab a guitar and amp and play a show, the cut out when switching, would hold it back. And from what I hear, I think you could find better effects that aren’t built in, so what purpose would it actually serve? So, maybe someone starting guitar, and wants to get a super simple amp, and just have every sound at their disposal. But at the end of the day, I think it’s a cool idea, not perfectly executed, and people would have a better time using a Squire with a Boss Katana and getting a decent foot switch. Great video, I had high hopes when you opened it, like “sweet they are gonna make a cheap Variac” and it just wasn’t that. Not bad, but I do t know that most new guitar players would find it inspiring to keep going and people who are experienced would consider it bad, and not bother. Great video, as always, and love all you do. Thanks.
Do u still need an audio interface to record signals?
So its basically a Harley Benton ST with a Nux mighty plug built in? But - you could get a Nux and a HB Fusion Ii for a lot less notes.
The one in yellow says "DANGER!"
Thanks for Bowling For Soup )))
I see Jeff goldblum... I click... Good job😂
I have a strat that looks like that, but it's just normal. Next thing you know they'll make a guitar that plays itself and you just stand there and hold it.

And I would still probably suck! :-)
To be honest, I would have liked to hear the guitar as just a guitar, with the modeling stuff bypassed AND a more in depth look at the tones from the presets, as well as it pretending to be other guitars. I play Variax guitars and would like to see how it stacks up.
fockin sickkkk
Which song was it at 10:37? Sounded super familiar... EDIT: Shazam is so useless after Apple bought it up
Need to demo that new Misha Jackson strat
"Robot tunners!" jajajaja
Cort and Sammick tried this on a bunch of guitars in the 80's but a lot of those kinda sucked. This one seems like it would be pretty cool though.
When do we find out who won the revv giveaway?
Did Hunter just play Free Fallin'?
I smell an Acoustisonic situation about to happen
The Guitar: It seems like a great idea for use as a practice guitar. You could take anywhere and have the benefit of pedals in one convenient easy-carry package. It even might be the ultimate Busking guitar. Roasted Maple Necks: I wonder if roasted maple just seems cool because it's a new thing. I can imagine, after a while, the newness factor wearing off. Then we'll probably look at in a whole different way. Then it might be relegated to use as a means to get a better overall balanced look on guitars with unique colors and hardware where the guitar benefits more from a darker neck in it's overall look.
Does this do Different Tunings?
Looks almost identical to my Schecter Nick Johnston HSS… 🤔
Can you buy it with English instructions?
