Thanks for an other awesome video Lance and Jacqueline really enjoyed it. That track definitely looked way more interesting and exciting way better than the other one. I have never seen so many Sheep for a long time I guess the sheep farms are all down in the South Island because all I see nowadays is Dairy farms. Some of those tracks along the water look really cool.

Yes the numbers of sheep in NZ keep dropping and the number of dairy cattle keep increasing.

You can pretty much find somewhere to ride where ever you go.

One of the best parts of the A2O, pipped only by the Duntroon to Oamaru section IMHO. Saw you at Glendhu, Mrs Best Day Ever wasn't looking happy that day!

He he...I'm Scottish...we always look miserable😂...I actually really loved Glendhu...I was a bit anxious after my QC disaster, but GD is so well made and flowy...it is made for bikes of course, where as QC is a walkers track. I really feel I've come a long way wrt feeling ok on my E-MTB...So, don't worry..I wasn't having a bad day😂😂

Make sure you ride from Bannockburn to Clyde on the opposite side of the lake eg not the roadside, both of you will love it, yes no jumps, but it will blow your mind, batteris for your camera, as you will burn through everything with scenic shots and video and check ya drone it will be needed too! Lots of water snacks! Take money you must go to the Old Post in Clyde for coffee and great food, btw also jump into Alexandra, buy coffee at the mobile cafe beside the Centennial Park right in the middle of town, Robs, Daily grind he has the best coffee and Banter south of Glasgow and hes an E-Mtbiker also and he could tell ya some yarns and maybe show ya some trails up the back of the clock or take on his local ride to Roxborough and back, tell the ex Army dude in the Landcrusier sent ya! Central Otago is the new mecca of E-Biking and MTN in general, don't tell everyone or like Liam Neeson, I will find you!🤪 Btw there's a great cafe in the middle of Bannockburn and a great pub that even will let Jaffa's in with their tight clothes, plus make sure you stay at the Bannockburn Cairnmuir Road campground via the inlet road, turn left just after the bridge don't go up the hill also mention the Landcruiser guy and she will look after you, its only 5mins to Cromwell, you guys can bike there everyday every which way that's loose, drink wine eat crackers and ride in MTB bliss! The camp ground has showers so big you could fit Dads Army in one shower together, not something us Southerners do, but you foreigners from the North Island well what ever floats ya boat, its communal but private, great place imo best camp in NZ Shred. enjoy! I'm heading back down there over Easter with a Convoy, for some Overlanding and rig up on top the Ridgeline for Warbirds over Wanaka and some kick ass 4wd off road and maybe a rip on my steam bike the mighty Ragely Big Wig, maybe so watch out for the yellow ands red screamer, on those trails it eats E-Bikes for breakfast!😛😋

We rode the Dunstan Trail and really enjoyed it. We also stayed in the camp ground in Bannockburn. We stayed there longer than planned as had caravan issues. Did several rides in Alex also.

Have you ever taken Jacqueline on the Exhibition Drive Track to the Beveridge Track to the Arataki Visitor's Centre (with the ice cream stand, and the NSFW statues:-) and back? (This is the only bike-legal singletrack in the Waitakeres.) I think she'd handle this OK (except perhaps for the steep section near the start of the Beveridge Track).

We live not far from the track so I know it well. My wife runs all around that area and knows it well. She has not taken the bike on it though. I sometimes cut through that way on rides to Cornwallis.

Was I the only one who noticed Mrs BDE powering past UP the hill without any heavy breathing. Left ya wallet in the ute, who the Scottish one here

She must've enjoyed the ride if you didn't get it in the neck for the wallet faux pas . Must admit I was on the verge of letting my NZMCA membership lapse until I saw this video series . I'll definitely need the cheap interisland pricing for my trip now that you've shown me the scenery

Geez Lousie, its Oat a ma ta ta, sheesh, the Merinos will be crying in their beds tonight in the high country! One of the sickest spots to Overland, fish, Windsurf, Water ski, I spent my youthful summers at Avimore! Bikes babes boats and Beers for many youthful years! OMFG O Mara Ma FFS. Someone make a license screen Jaffa's to come to the Mainland! if that was in the North the gangs would hang you from a lamp post. Just don't talk like that in a local pub and wear a bush shirt, no fancy labels and skin tight clothes and you might make it out without a drenching, if ya know ya know!🤣 Riding is sick and it is a great place, even better in summer! 🤟
