Is This Really Pakistan's WORST City? 🇵🇰

We arrive at our first stop on the great economy class railroad adventure, Hyderabad! Watch as Jack and Paige try to break free of our Pakistani prison hotel to explore the great Shani Bazaar with caution after hearing that Hyderabad is Pakistan's "worst city". We meet some interesting characters along the way, stumble across Pakistan's worst band, a kind fruit seller, and get Paige some new sunnies. After that we hop on the local bus without a destination and see where it takes us, only to land us straight back in the market where we explore more of the backstreets and try the famous Dulhan Paratha. Is this Pakistan's worst city? Stay tuned to hear our final thoughts at the end.

    My friend, they didn't kick you out of the main dining area, they upgraded you to the family dining room, where you could enjoy the food in privacy, without being disturbed by the beggars, solicitors and uninvited stares. It is their way of giving respect to Paige. And the foreigners are not allowed to stay in any hotel they want because those hotels and guest houses are not considered safe for the tourists and don't feel bad if they informed the police of your movements, it's for your own safety so that the police knows where you two are going and where to look for you if any of you go missing. And the iron bars in the windows of your hotel room are for your protection so that nobody could climb up and break into your room through the windows and possess a threat to you or steal your goods. :)

    That separate area was a misunderstanding. They didn't mean you have to. They were just pointing out butyou could have said 'We are fine here'. As far iron bars, I have seen them in most countries for safety reasons (I have seen them in Malaysia and Peru).

    The security issue is as follows : Every foreigner in pk to such places ( specially south west pakistan )is escorted by police so they remain safe. The foreigners security is prime as they are guests. The plCe where they are staying , the managment informs police 🚨 so the foreigner renains safe. 2. Once there was a chinese in local bus with us and the police stopped at every checkpost . Its a rule in pk and good for the safety of foreigners. No need to n scared. 3. Yes theremust be dedicated hotels go accomodate foreigners to avoid hassle 4. Do visit Qila dirawaer ( Dirawer forte ) v famous in bahwalpur. A city 1 hour away from Multan . Youvan wat h km youtibe what im talking about. My moms home is there id b glad to host. 😊 Welcome

    As a British Pakistani I conquer. But that's what an Adventure is I suppose. Personally I would stick to Karachi / Lahore and Islamabad because they are Safe Modern Cities for International People. Beyond these Cities (and Hunza/Skardu which are designated tourist areas with security) ... one would be gambling as Hyderabad and many similar type of cities have large volumes of un-edcuated people who are not use to international travellors. YOU HAVE TO USE COMMON SENSE... I WOULDN'T VISIT CERTAIN PARTS OF BRIXTON in LONDON ON MY OWN EITHER.

    @@ROSIESTRAVELCHANNELyou're wrong cities Jehlum and near Like Sarai Alamgir, and Gujrat they're a modern lifestyle in Islamabad or Lahore architecture is more modern and most of those areas are like societies. Many overseas Pakistanis are used to Pakistan and stay in those areas too. Other than this Gujranwala, Sialkot and Faisalabad is also transforming very quickly. Most of Punjab is Developing at a very good rate and that is what Sindh and other provinces need to do.

Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore have more amenities and facilities for people not accustomed to Pakistan and ofcurse even some of the smaller cities in Pakistan have clusters of affluence.. I was referencing the biggest developed cities for a still developing Pakistan @@SamiiplaysGaming

    @@ROSIESTRAVELCHANNEL I am from Lahore. But as Lahore I seen the places like Gujrat it is totally modern cleaner and have all the amenities for modern life styles like good shopping malls, luxury villas, good schools and universities more than that very clean and have lesser population. But yes still you can't compare them to Lahore, Islamabad & Pindi. But one this is for sure Entire Punjab province developing very well and this what Sindh needs to learn and there government also have to spend on the infrastructure and development of the majority cities of Sindh Atleast.

From the local bazars/markets to ancient monuments, to museum, to theme park, to malls, to restaurants, to even villages with mangrove farms in rural Hyderabad. You guys missed out on the best food as well, Hyderabad has the best food in Pakistan. I have travelled all around pakistan and honestly hyderabad has the best food. I would have gladly showed you guys the best places. If you come next time please do reach out. Thankyou for visiting my city and i am really sorry it was not much of a pleasant experience overall, and there are no security concerns here i dont know why the hotel made such a fuss. Thankyou so much for visiting my country, hope your stay here be fulfilled with loads of great memories.

    Bro clearly theres a language barrier...dont go to these cities expecting them to understand English because the lady that "told you guys off" was simply telling your wife to fix her pants..and the guy jn the Dulhan paratha resteraunt was doing you a favor by giving you the family table... next time perhaps take a local with you so that you actually understand whats being said

  • @nk-films
    @nk-films4 ай бұрын

    Hey Jack, just watched your video today first time. Its really cool that you are visiting places which may be considered difficult because of language barrier. In this video there were many places where you or the locals misunderstood each other just because of the language barrier. For example, the lad who sold you needle and thread first thought you wanted the whole set but then realising you only needed one spool, wanted only 20 but you gave him price for the ful box. Second, in the dulhan paratha place you fluently said ek piece (one piece) but he thought you said chicken piece, 😆thats why you had a leg piece in your plate. Also, family dinning area was offered as a respect for your partner so she can eat in privacy away from other men. Not as punishment or restriction because they were trying to say that you can eat wherever but because you have a woman with you can eat in the privacy of family dining room. Ironically that room was stinking bad lol. I suggest when you speak English words, say them a little slowly and stressing on your Ts and Ds etc. Good luck with your travels, have fun and I hope this helps. Come and see us in Manchester when you guys are back.

    You were not forced to a separate area. There was misunderstanding. You could have stayed there. They didn't understand when you asked them if you were allowed to..... If a woman doesn't mind, they don't mind you sitting there. It is usually high end restaurants where people don't get curious stares so there is no segregation. In poorer neighbourhoods, they wanted you to feel comfortable and hence they have this separate area. Next time you should say 'Hum Yahan theek hain' (we are fine here).

    I hope this message finds you both in the best of spirits wherever your travels may have taken you after your adventures in Pakistan. As avid followers of your travel escapades, I couldn't resist the opportunity to reach out and share some thoughts with you. Jack, your simplicity and charm are truly endearing. Your genuine approach to experiencing new cultures shines through in your content, and it's a joy to watch. Paige, your vibrant energy adds a delightful sparkle to your travels. Your enthusiasm for exploration is contagious, and it's evident how much you both relish the journey. Paige, I must say, it would be wonderful to see you engage more with Pakistani women during your travels. Their stories, experiences, and perspectives would undoubtedly enrich your adventure even further. And Jack, while you're soaking in the cultural immersion, I have a suggestion for both of you. Consider delving into Pakistani dramas during your downtime. Not only are they entertaining, but they can also serve as a fantastic tool for improving your Urdu language skills. Trust me; you'll find yourself captivated by the storytelling and cultural nuances woven into these narratives. Now, onto a bit of travel advice! If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend a visit to Azad Kashmir. It's a region of breathtaking beauty and rich cultural heritage, just a couple of hours away from Rawalpindi. Places like Mirpur, Muree, Muzaffarabad, and Dadyal offer a glimpse into the diverse landscapes and traditions of the area. Adding a personal touch, I've been to your country town, Newcastle upon Tyne. It holds a special place in my heart, and I fondly remember the seaside, the bustling market stalls, and the grand country houses. Interestingly, there's a famous hotel called Jabeel Hotel in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, whose owners hail from Newcastle upon Tyne. It's amazing how connections between places can bridge cultures and create memorable experiences. Jack, I want to share something personal with you. While I haven't watched your travels to other countries yet, I plan to start from India after I finish watching your Pakistani videos. You see, I live in Wembley but was originally born and bred in Wolverhampton. Our backgrounds might be different-I didn't have the privileges you did-but watching your and Paige's adventures gives me hope and inspiration to explore the world through your videos. Wishing you both continued joy and discovery on your Pakistani journey. May each moment be filled with wonder and meaningful connections. Warm regards rom Wembley, UK

Please don't over pay or being generous and paying excess of what its worth. No matter how cheap it is converting to UK currency. Still very interesting watching your videos, Wish you continue having safe and enjoyable trip. Rashid from Dallas Texas.

    I am not sure but u guys are doing some sort of gypsy kind of travelling. Maybe watch some videos from Chris or Josh, they are having different adventures in Pakistan and you guys are entering in bazars and crowded places where normal Pakistani ppl even dont go. Also what would be expect in such areas? Lets take an example of any hood in England where normal white ppl dont go. Maybe upgrade ur budget and try visiting some decent places and stop potraying such Pakistan, BBC or Sky news are enough for that.

    why should she change for the world? Burkhas are for the weak. She is strong and she has a strong man with her. More importantly she has a strong country behind her. The misogynistic messes with her and the man and the country will bring Pak to its knees. I think the people out there know that they should not mess with a foreigner.

Lol please dont assume and interpret incorrectly.. they asked you to go to family area only cause they assumed u guys might enjoy their private area more.. it has nothing to do with paige being banned. keep exploring and keep Having fun we enjoy ur videos but please dont make assumptions only cause of communication barriers. i have lived 12 years in US and not in my wildest dream can i ever imagine any pakistani being welcomed and treated how u guys have been so far for the most part and that makes me a proud and happy pakistani. I hope u keep exploring pakistan and keep having amazing experiences. Also try to visit some of the more touristy cities too
