Hi Jack and Paige! I’m a British Pakistani and I’m embarrassed to see how one lowlife scumbag can ruin one’s trip. Trips like these are in fact memories to cherish for the rest of your life. I’m absolutely gutted and apologise to you guys. I personally wouldn’t take my wife to such busy places in Pak so it’s probably best to avoid going to sub standard over crowded market places. Sadly this happens to women and even men everywhere. This happened to me at work here in North America. Just be more vigilant. Your naive enthusiam while refreshing was somewhat unrealistic. The bubble was bound to burst eventually. Enough with the endless selfies with random ppl who dont know you but see white ppl filming. Paige seems more put together. Dont let this ruin your adventure. Be careful but continue forward. She seems to always be walking behind you and not beside or in front of you. Change this perhaps. Keep vlogging. Jumping places couple always has his wife walking in front of him 😊.

As a british born i can say that these types of assaults are very very common in bazars more populated places in Lahore. I have personally experienced this on many occasions in Lahore. Unfortunately theres not much you can do in these situations. Take your own precautions, make sure your wife is walking infront of you at all times, as Lahore is not too safe. Besides this Lahore is amazing, i hope you have a better experience. Keep up the vlogs.

Tbh, stuff like this happens in the UK too... Too many comments making out that this is some sort of an exclusive Pakistani problem. It's a nation of 280 million people. I am surprised there aren't more nutters considering how many we have over here in the UK. Here in London, women in my own family have faced similar situations at the hands of EDL drunkards, NHS doctors, binmen and cops, all ethnically white predators from all walks of life. But I wouldn't use it as a bench mark for everyone in what is a very cosmopolitan existence. If a man ever encounters any sort of dishonour, one can either go down two legal roads... Either go straight to the police, embassy wherever... See it through to the end, so that all the truth comes out and you have bettered society for everyone... Or just put the incident completely behind you, water of a ducks back and all that, move on instantly and not even give it second thought. The stupid thing that the London Met always say here, is "was there any vaginal penetration?" It's always obvious that in the case of groping the answer is going to be usually no, so they just expect you to go on with your day. In Pakistan, however, you can already see from the comments that many are quite ready to kill the individual involved without even having heard his side of the story, Such is the sense of shame. Your first port of call is to take this up with the Pakistani Embassy. I am sure they will resolve this for you.

While visiting this kind of crowded places, please take a local host/guide with you (may be like the guy you found in Karachi Saddar), who can make your travel enjoyable and can help avoid such situations. Pakistan has a huge population with very high illiteracy and poverty rates. These are the people who haven't got enough in the life, and have nothing to loose. So, you need to take all precautions to avoid such circumstances while enjoying your journey! Stay Safe!

No doubt overall Lahore is very peaceful but just because of some pervets it get complicated for foriegner to explore. I am here to offer my services for free while exploring Pakistan. Travel safely, freely & happily but please must take services of local guide or police just because to make Ayensly more safe & secured while exploring & filming.
