I was undecided between quad lock and Mous. The part at 8:55 where you mount the phone on Mous is what helped me decide to go with Mous. It's about $20 more for me but the ease of mounting is worth it.

The new Quadlock stuff is great. The waterproof wireless charger is brilliant. No moving parts like the mous system that I feel will fail eventually. Evotech do some fantastic yoke mounting systems for the quadlock for the ktm. Never had the old system case or the new one go scruffy like that one you showed and I abuse mine too. Nice to see other options to the quadlock available though.

Just recently brought a new mount and case for the bike. Didnt go for quadlock due to the faff of getting it on. I ended up going for an Ultimate Addons case and mount as normally only have the phone on the bike when using it as a nav and the fact the ultimate addons case is fully enclosed, waterproof and offers water proof charging along with being easy to get on and off swung it for me, although its abit bulkier in the case. Great vid as always mate!

Not sure why, just been on the site and managed to select it... both myself, my dad and brother all have Samsungs of different generations and all have Mous cases and mounts. Maybe a browser thing! If not, try through Instagram

I can vouch for the strength of the quadlock mount in a crash as my phone was still attached wven though the impact was enough to seperate the fairing from the bike. Mind you that ease of mounting looks superb

I really like my quad lock, but I agree, sometimes I just can't get the damn thing on, other times it's easy, I don't know why 😂 the mous does look easier! But it doesn't look as sturdy, but I haven't used one, it just looks like it'll come off.

It looks like Mouse doesn't have a vibration damper with wireless charging, like SP connect. Love the magnets in the mouse mount, but I am very happy with my SP connect. Also without the ugly bump on the back.

SP Connect seem to be working on a lot in the background. Seem to have some nice bits. It sounds like Mous is bringing out their wireless charging systems at the moment so hopefully that comes through soon

I wanted to order a Mous for my iPhone 13 mini but they are constantly out of stock. Maybe they ceased production for that model?! Nice video, thank you for the work you put in. Cheers, Lupo

Hi Sam. I'm using ultimate add-ons at the minute which are great but I'm not sure I need the whole waterproof stuff. Have a Google pixel and apparently it's IP68. How do you find the case/mount system works in the typical sh1te British weather? Bike looks mint still, love what you did with the decals - very you. Just done a run back from Dover today on my SDGT and despite rain and people, it was bliss. Over 3500 miles now 😬

Hey bud! Yeah you will be safe without all of the extra casing. Mine is waterproof too and have no issues. The only issue you get, like anything with a touch screen, is when it gets wet, it cam get a bit over excited and start pressing buttons etc! Thank you! Glad you're enjoying the bike! Legend! Thanks mate. I did have the top clamp mount but when I fitted risers it totally ruined the mount when I had the tank bag on. Might have a look at the Maus stuff. Really appreciate your opinion on these things mate. Nice to hear from experience rather than just them giving you free stuff and you telling everyone it's ace. If you're ever up north let me know. Question: I bought this mount last summer, I use a Galaxy S23 Ultra, when it clips in it hangs down on the mount so that it kinda wobbles...dunno how else to describe it. Does your droop, or does it hold it firmly in place? Curious if mines defective or its normal. Mines mounted on a T7 and would rather not destroy the phone cameras with the offroading I tend to do, but my concerns are based on paved roads and highways so...

The way mine is angled, it does seem to lean. I wouldn't say its drooping but it's definitely not as solid as the QL vibe dampener. I've used it quite a bit as it is and not had any issues with the phone. I think it's primarily the small vibrations you need it to stop, rather than the big impacts.

Looks like I’ve found my next mount, thanks Sam, I’m currently using the Quad lock, it is a bit of a faf getting it on at times so this will suit me fine 👍🏻

Quadlock ruined my s21 ultra camera with the vibration mount, got a new phone and now just use the old phone as a satnav not great. Hopefully mous has a better dampener.

Ahh thats awful! It's always a risk putting the phones on any of these mounts but you'd like to think a vibration dampener would keep it relatively safe!

Dedicated GPS unit is the only way. Putting the phone on your bike makes more problems than it solves.

Used to use quad lock, but it ruined my iPhone camera even with the vibration dampener and had to go and payout for a new phone 😡 was not happy! Now dont use anything. Would like something but dont trust them now, cant afford to keep buying new phones!

True, but you already did. Quad lock has fallen many times and never comes off.

It was exaggerated initially to make the point. Every single person I speak to about Quadlock says its a great system but can be annoying to put on. I don't want to have to think about how I have to put my phone on, I just want to put it on. I didn't get paid by anyone for this

You can see later in the review when it's just a normal attempt which isnt a load easier. The first set is making the point, but I use the same exaggeration on the Mous system, and it works. I've used Quadlock for years, and I removed it because it got more annoying than it was worth. Mous and Quadlock don't know I was making a video about it at all so it's based on my experience
