Getting rid of loss-making positions is one of the toughest things to incorporate. The delusion of averaging in the hope of recovery is even more dangerous. Homework is absolutely important. Thank you for the video, Sir this 3,5,7% SL strategy is to be applied only when we suspect markets are topping out or at all times. Will not the churn be very high if applied at all times. It is contrary to the buy and hold approach if structures are solid discussed in earlier videos .

Churn will be high when market is not ideal. In this case, position size automatically will be limited.

Be open to both; Existing one's and Newer one's that setup. In existing one's, once the patterns emerge again, be prepared to scale up.

Thanks ST for the valuable videos you continue to put out for us retailers. I start cuting out my positions on stocks that I have purchased for positional investment on violation of pivots. But for stocks that I have bought with the intention of holding for next 5-10 years and are in decent profits I dont do the same (provided they continure to remain above my purchase price). Do you recommend to cut positions for such long term investments as well? Also, would you recommend the startegy of cutting profitable positions based on price breakdown in fundamentally strong company to newbie investors with a long term view who may otherwise have a hard time discerning a simple correction to a price crash leading to premature exits?

Stock is 85% lower from its ATH. Always prefer stocks closer to ATH. More reliable in terms of patterns.

Now I am using Weekly TF and doing SIP in Fundamental Good stocks. Which are still in HH HL on Weekly.

What an amazing video Sir. Just came across the news of banning certain dog breeds in India under the tag of being ferocious. I personally feel people need to have proper consultation first from dog behaviorist or a reputed breeder who can guide them which dog they can adopt based on their lifestyle. You just can not have a working breed chained 24/7 with out providing it sufficient physical and mental exercise and later blame that it has become aggressive. 😢

Thank you for the video sir. Sir after analysing sectors at present PSU banks have fallen more and private banks are stable. IT hasn’t fallen and looking still good. FMCG started to fall well before the recent fall and it’s already consolidating. So either it may break down or break out. So my view is to watchlist the better stocks in these sector so when uptrend starts these might do well. Pls give ur opinion sir.. Thank you.

Hi Raunak, I always had this doubt. Even though HDFC bank has overall weak structure, it fell the least 2℅ last few weeks whereas SBI fell 7+% after good rally. So now which one is good at the moment to keep in the watchlist considering the margin of safety.

Sir recently i studied that microcap250 stocks and found only 5-7 names with Strong RS and near ATH But there were other stocks as well which have not fallen much from ATH but their RS was neutral to weak. So i should study them as well?
