I've got 3 Vanfords. A 5000, 3000 and a 2500 all matched to custom Connley Rods. These setups were built specifically for fishing artificials and each has exceeded my expectations since day one.

So excited to unbox mine, just bought a new one a today in 3k. Nice catch bro, I like the sound of the drag. Fish on.

I dont know if its just my end but the music is on full volume and I cant hear you talk about the reel =/. Starts at 6:25. I can imagine the Vanford is amazing reel, I have like 6 of the NASCI for only 100 dollars, I've never cleaned then and all still catching every week for the last 5 years.

Great reel only issue I see with it is how light it is and getting it to balance properly on a rod. The background musics and voice volume in video are reversed in how loud they should be

Looks like a good reel. I'm a cheapo though and use the Penn Fierces. Is that reel fully sealed? If so that's not too bad a deal. Keep the vids up. 🤙

It has their “X-protect” which means “almost” fully sealed haha

If you’re gonna go Daiwa you should try the new saltist 2500 they just put out there hard to find and a little pricey but they’re worth it I love mine so far have caught a couple slot and 35in snook on it and it handled it well.

I have no idea why the music is so loud it wasn't like that before lol its a shimano curado. Had it forever and it actually just broke yesterday 😭 replaced it with a st croix mojo inshore

@@JakeJenkins Thanks. I'm planning on getting the Vanford 5000. Not yet sure what rod to pair it with. I'm looking at a Shimano Talavera Inshore. However, that Curado looks nice too! Keep up the good content!

I love the st croix mojo inshores. The shimano zodias pair well with the vanford as well if you like aesthetics

Hard to go wrong with Shimano reels. I love the Stradic. Been fishing them since I was a kid. The new Florida fishing product Osprey will give any reel on the market a run for its money. Keep Slaying!

I got a friend who is all in on Florida fishing reels. They're expensive but really good and customer service sounds pretty good too. I just can't spend VA whole lot. I just can't bring by myself to it.
