WOW! You said more than a mouthful! At 68 y/o, the lifting of heavy pipe & drape bags, boxes full of heavy decor items and yes, the saturation of decorators in my area really shut me down. I decorated my church for Mother's Day and was reignited but again fizzled out. You are speaking through the Holy Spirit and touched "that nerve" to not give up; give in. I'm aged but not old, I'm more than a conqueror, and my gift was given to be used. Thank you for the encouragement!!

Amen to that! God often uses people in their "older" ages so please don't count yourself out. Age is something we pay attention to but not God. Remember, God blessed Sarah with her first child at 90 years old! You can still decorate without using the heavier items. Maybe you can just decorate at your church for now...

Your words of encouragement are always appreciated. Has anyone ever reuse the balloons from a setup you did, for another event. This happened to me recently. I know once the client pays they belong to them, but I still felt some type of way.

Typically, I pop the balloons at end of the event. On a few occasions, the client will take the balloon garlands and use them afterwards. I only know that because they tell me, not because I see my balloons at another event. I don't mind though. If my clients can get another use out of the balloons, that's good for them. ☺️
