I've put 7300 kms on my 2020 kodiak 700 se, the only thing negative was the front brake pads delaminated,, otherwise it hasn't missed a beat.its 2" lifted and has 27" trail warriors, rear granny basket swell as front and rear beatbox black boar..and extra lights because the headlights suck... otherwise a 10 out of ten.

I just got the 2024 Yamaha Kodiak SE with power steering winch and plow my local dealer gave me a pretty good deal for the package and I finally decided to pull the trigger and go for it brand new and let me tell you I have owned a lot of ATVS over the years and Yamaha never seems to fail with quality and reliability! I compared this to my friend’s sportsman 500 HO and this Yamaha takes the cake! The ride on it is smoother and more controllable with the power steering, the low end power in low range makes you feel more confident about moving heavy objects out of the way that could be blocking the trails and the speed is good enough to keep up with some of the sportier stuff that’s out there. Definitely worth every penny you spend on it either you decide to keep it forever or just a little while Yamaha is a name brand that will never change! I can’t wait to start making videos of mine this summer!

@@tbone198786 I did notice the heat as well but once your moving it is not that bad, however if your in low gear and crawling around it does tend to get a little hot, for the compartment I did notice it gets warm in there also so I just keep non essential items in there like riding gloves, tow straps, and maybe a small tool kit I just use a trail box on the racks for anything else.
