Is the High-pivot Trek Session actually better?
Спорт
I know its smoother... I know it makes you feel like a superhuman... But is it faster than my old Session? There's only one way to find out. The clock doesn't lie. 3 runs on each.

fun always wins! so good, cam!
i rode rockfall for the first time last summer and holy fuck, the speed at which cam is riding it is unreal. videos REALLY don't do these gnarly trails any justice

I also rode it for the first time, on a Santa Cruz V10. It was scary but do-able. I did it again but on an enduro bike, and I definitely had to walk a couple spots haha.

I did aswell and its pretty crazy how fast he is going. and how gnarly that trail is compared to th vid. I rode it on an endure bike which was probably not ideal lol

I did too and I'm sure I'm going 1/4th as fast, probably even slower than that. This trail deserves respect!

I rode it on my Santa Cruz tallboy, it took me like 30min to get down. This trail is insane
GREAT video! Love to see these big questions answered.
Ridgeline is pretty gnar, I rode it last year (september) and stuffed my big toe into a rock aka me asking the beautiful medic to help peel off my toenail..still hasn't grown back fully

Rockfall you mean? Ya I still can't do it without hiking a couple spots
Going fast and smooth is super fun as well what i love to do at parks
Great video!!! I like how you cut the first runs and did the last one uncut, plus the conclusion was the best 🤣
Fun as always! Proper science too! 🤘🔥
Great analysis! You are a very funny genius!
Sorry for the following comment, but this LOOKS LIKE A SESSION!!! 😉
That trail looks brilliant super chunky gnar 🤩
I made the video! 🤣. And Cam is fast AF. I tried to follow. Almost died.

Don't tell me, you crashed?
nothin better then coming home from school to a cam mccaul vid
that trail looks so fun
It's cool seeing the whole trail that one of the segments for that "ride your fu**ing bike" fox movie was filmed on. The part where they were jumping onto a log. It's cooler getting to see that trail five more times haha
Arm pump...work of the Devil. Great vid
Yoooo first ever spoke less wheels!!!! That’s so gnar!!!
"The downhill bike is better at downhill!" 🤣🤣 Looked like a crazy fun day. #IWannaGoFast #Dontstopontrails
@Cam McCaul Aside from Mountain Biking, what are you other passions? I was going to say motorcycling or fishing. I like to imagine you fishing with a boat hat and a cigar.
Such a tease to post this in winter! Counting the hours to opening day this summer...
heck yea!
@Cam Mchaul, as a follow up Cam I think KOM is 3:12. K
@Cam McCaul - best ever paint job, just can't tell if its a 22 or 24 fret top tube :-)
YEARGGG!
Nice riding.... But where is the EX8 that you put crazy parts on, is it still around?
Awesome video and sweet bike! What’s that timing device called?
2022 addition to Trek Factory Racing Downhill team?
Did you tune the fork appropriately when you switched bikes?
How long is the chain stay on the session park ?
15:50 cat-like reflexes
Real question is which one is more fun?
Did you make any compression changes to the fork? Control tires? Inquiring minds would like to know 🤔 Looks like you had a great time!
bothe with 27.5 weehls?
333 lap time
You sure you’re not at Mammoth? 😅😂
Fun fact. This was shot Dec 5th. Maybe not. But it could have been.
No matter what weard brand comes out with a long travle trek will alwase out priform
Doesn't look like this "high pivot" bike actually has any of the perks that it should.
But what's the fun of the bumps dissapearing? Try that trail with an enduro bike with 26 wheels! or even a hardtail ;) I don't want to sound like an old school nostalgic, but imagine, God forbid, the someone creates an ABS system for mountain bikes. Of course they would be quicker, and it would make sense in the competition... but would the 99% of the people need it? Would suddenly common brakes became "dangerous"?

the fun is that you can go bigger and faster
Not the greatest that's for sure. Made in Taiwan 🤣
