2023 Trek Session High Pivot Review

Спорт

After a great summer at the Whistler Bike Park and numerous shuttle mission I present you with the Trek Session review. I was impressed with the new high-pivot bike’s traction even under emergency braking and its stability when making questionable choices. It has also been much more durable compared to my previous Sessions.

Nice video- over the years you’ve had a reviewed many bikes. Does one stand out as your favorite? If you could have one bike that you had to both pedal everywhere and ride in the park. Would it be the chainsaw? Or would you go with something like the spire? Or something else? I want to own a DH bike, but where I live an enduro bike is big enough for the bike parks we have and I only get to Proper bike parks a couple times a year, so I usually rent then

That’s a hard one as bikes just keep getting better. The newest Evil Wreckoning was a standout but I have since rode bikes that climb quite a bit better. The Chainsaw is the easily the most like a full downhill bike but I’m still feeling it out on the climbs. The climbing position is excellent, but it’s a bit of a chunk. If you want something that’s pedalable but with full DH performance the Chainsaw maybe the bike. I’m excited to check out the new Santa Cruz Nomad. I should also have a full review for the Chainsaw enduro soon.

@@NICADV that new Nomad is very interesting to me- I’m currently on the new HD6 and it’s fantastic, but I’m still Nomad curious and there’s something about the chainsaw that is just cool

@@danielray1558 Agreed, every ride the Chainsaw impresses me and it’s more maneuverable than the numbers would suggest. Especially, as things get wetter around here the traction is insane
