Great lecture. Few points I want make: When we touch a hot object with our finger or get a pinprick the response in the form of moving our hand away from the noxious stimulus is a spinal reflex. The input travels to spinal cord via afferent root and without going to brain gets transmitted to efferent root via an interneuron and then to the muscle to remove the hand from the painful stimulus.

Very well explained and your firm belief that mind is just an emergent phenomenon of matter is superb. I want to ask one question whether a computer can lie at its will but humans can lie at their will for their survival !! .

Also the cardiac electrical acitivity responsible for muscle contraction originates from the Sino Atrial node located in upper right chamber of heart. SA node is by itself a power generator of heart and can function independent of the brain even though it at times gets sympathetic or a parasympathetic input from the brain.

@@zion-istslayer It is heart breaking, indeed. Instead of delving deep into the study of miracles and thus strengthening their imaan, Muslim youth are being sidetracked into studying trivia. That too, at the hands of an unbeliever. And this is being done unchallenged, in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan!! Can't some Muslims put an end to this continuing insult to Allah and the Holy Prophet (PBUH)?

Hi, you have taken science to judge everything. JINNS, angels, heavens, hell etc out of 5 human senses doesn't mean they don't exist. Secondly, Allah says in the Quran multiple times about JINNS. The problem is that you use this brain (of this world) to analyze the things that are out of this worldly life (Hell, Heaven etc), you must realize that the brain we're given by Allah is to make us succeed in the afterlife and not to go after the questions like "Who created Allah?" or similar questions. If you don't understand something, don't just deny based on incomplete science research or this worldly knowledge. For example, draw a circle and write inside it "human intelligence" and write outside that circle "total intelligence". Let's assume the radius of that circle is 100 meters. Allah has given us the intelligence of a circle of radius 100 meters at maximum to pass the test of life and that radius of 100 meters is enough for us to pass the test. You might have a question "But not every human has the same intelligence, then how will a person with a human intelligence of radius 20 meters will pass the test?". The answer is: just like difference of radius of human knowledge, Allah will test everyone based on the difference of their human intelligence HE has given. A person with brain malfunction has, let's say, a radius of human intelligence of 5 meters, Allah will judge him according to that person's 5 meters intelligence radius. Just like a children in grade 1 and a children in Grade 12 have different math exams, same applies to our test of life (some conspiracy theorists think a bit similar to this, they say "We are in simulation controlled by a higher being"). Even the Quran itself says that: "Do not follow what you have no ˹sure˺ knowledge of. Indeed, all will be called to account for ˹their˺ hearing, sight, and intellect." [17:36]. This implies that Yes, these fake peer are simply making money out of someone's misery, and YES, people of the past simply blame JINNs for every sickness or disease. Now according to the verse mentioned above, you've read Allah say to us to not follow what you have no sure knowledge of, why did you even mention the BHAU BILLAH story, it's in common sense if we talk about something, we talk from the top notch book and not from the village story. BHAU BILLAH is simply bogus while the JINN of the QURAN is real and there is no doubt about that. Human eyesight is not given enough power to see outside visible electromagnetic spectrum because it was not necessary for Allah to provide humans higher level of eyesight to pass the test of life. Just like human intelligence, every trait of human is limited to worldly test. If the human intelligence is maximum at radius of 100 meters, and there is a question at radius 150 meters, you'll never be able to find the answer to that question. Because the radius of human intelligence is non-expandable. Whatever knowledge we gain with time, we still are inside our radius. We may had intelligence of 40 meters radius 10 years ago and now we may have 80 meters radius but the boundary limit is 100 meters. I am an electrical engineer. You won't believe me but science took me closer to Allah. Earlier, I was confused about Jinns, Angels, Predestination, Test of life, why are we created without our permission?, what is time outside this world?, why people are born poor and are tested more harshly than our politicians with lush lives? etc. I found the answers, thanks to Allah Almighty for making me think. Allah himself says in the Quran that 'can a knowledgeable person and a person without knowledge be equal!" Allah tells to gain knowledge to find HIS existence and other stuff and become superior to knowledgeable beings. So THINK, THINK and THINK. QURAN DOESN'T NEED SCIENCE. SCIENCE NEED QURAN. Quran doesn't deny well-established science (LAWS). You'll see when in the future when science find something and comes to the conclusion to make it LAW, you'll find that law already in The Holy Quran. SCIENCE IS NOT GOD. SCIENCE IS THE TOOL TO MAKE OUR BELIEVES MORE FIRM ON THE EXISTENCE OF GOD. SO THINK LIKE YOU SENT FOR A PURPOSE AND NOT LIKE AN ATHIEST. I HOPE YOU GET MY EXPLANATION. I HOPE YOU'LL READ IT IF YOU'VE TIME. THANK YOU !
