Most viruses causing human disease jumped from other mammals. These are called as zoonotic disease. A lot of viruses are found in bats and because they are also mammals they can jump to humans easily either directly or through an intermediate.

Virus and bacteria are jinns. Being made of fire, they can change shape (mutate) over time. The Holy Quran explains this fully.

@@PS-ej2xn Islam is not for you !!! You are NOT an Arab ! Go read Sura Ibrahim, ayat 4, which is [Chapter 14, verse 4 of Quran]. If allah wanted, he would have sent a prophet who could speak Urdu/Punjabi/Sindhi/Balochi ...... On October 8th, 2005, Pakistan was hit by earthquake, 90000 Pakistanis died, and recently, Pakistan was hit with Flood, 1500 Pakistanis died, houses are still indundated with flood water, people are dislodged from their houses ..... If allah is that benevolent, why is he killing Muslims ??

Why bats harbour so many of human disease causing viruses is an interesting question! Bats have a high tolerance for the viruses and when they fly their body temperature increases to 38-41 C. The pathogens that have evolved in bats are able to withstand these high temperatures. This poses a problem for humans because our immune system has evolved to use high temperatures in the form of fevers to protect us from invading pathogens.

How do muslim feel knowing his/her mother have been raped or looted by his/her male ancestors?
