I adore everything about my 2021 Tango Red Vorsprung RS6, the only thing I would like to change is the fuel economy 😬

The Heads up display and adaptive cruise control is on the 'Vorsprung' edition. That model looks like a 'carbon black' mid-tier one. I don't get your obsession with having a 'button' that raises the suspension?......if anything, with the adaptive suspension, it drops 10mm when you press dynamic mode....so kinda defeats the objective of the button? My suggestion, get it longer than a half an hour test drive.

If it has a feature to raise the suspension to get over bumps etc that should be on a button. Not 3 presses deep in some menus. I absolutely agree I need some more time with it. I suspect I’d come To some more conclusions but unfortunately that’s all I had

Good video! That must have been the carbon edition you had with a few options.....for the HUD/Adaptive cruise and all the other "assist" toys you need the vorsprung which comes with basically every box ticked. the vorsprung also comes with the "steel sprung" DRC sport suspension. Carbon Ed. has "air" as standard hence the ride height adjustment. Car does feel different on DRC but still rides great on the 22" wheels. (Disclaimer...RS6 vorsprung owner! )

Ah thanks, I was missing some key info 🤦🏻‍♂️. I’m amazed at the ride quality on 22s, would love to try on the 21s just to see. How are you finding the ownership experience?

It is a really nice wagon. With a lot of luxury and decent power it is pretty gud. I do recommend considering other cars like AMG e53 wagon.

I agree with your comment about how most of the time you’re not racing about and certainly where I live in west London most of miles are on the motorway and dual carriageway, so I decided against the RS6 and I also didn’t like the touch screens and large slab of black plastic in front of the passenger and I went for a 2018 Q7 50TDI Vorsprung for my family wagon. Loads of space, decent economy, luxurious inside and plenty fast enough for 99% of my miles. I love my sporting handling and speed (owned large sports bikes for years) but I find v fast cars that are also quite luxurious a bit of a waste of money as I don’t use the speed and handling for the vast majority of my miles and just waft about I’m not sure any Audi has a lift button but the adaptive suspension can be switched into various modes including an off-road/ raised mode

I agree with you, the touch screens make it a no no and absolutely the speed is irrelevant for my usage. I’ll have to go drive a q7, have generally avoided an suv as I’m not so keen on the feeling of going round a corner that high up. The lift button point is interesting, it felt like the whole car went up which I guess would get you over a speed bump but also out of a field

Hi Sam Q7s with the Vorsprung and I think the black edition specs have the sport air suspension which is 15mm lower than standard and in dynamic mode they are as low as they can go. They still ride a fair bit higher than an A6 though. Many reviewers have commented they are more of a large estate than an SUV which appealed to me I think you’re quite local so let me know if you want to see my car

Taycan Cross Turismo over an RS6 for me. Unless you're doing regular 250 mile plus trips, then it needs to be an ICE vehicle. I'm sure you must own a Ltd company Sam, in which case the EV is an absolute no brainer, particularly being in London.

It’s definitely on the cards. I think I’d prefer the sport turismo that’s coming. Possibly with some battery/efficiency updates. The problem is this car will definitely do long trips and it’s a bit of a gamble at the moment with charging a non-Tesla

@@sammooresphoto Initially I felt the same, I've liked the Panamera Sport Turismo since it launched, it's the best Panamera design to date. The GTS model looks like the sweet spot, but it's just way too expensive by the time you've put even a moderate spec on it. It would be replacing my 2017 Audi C7 S6 Avant with something pretty much the same spec at nearly three times the price. However I've grown to quite like the Cross Turismo (the increase in ride height is a plus for me where I live in Kent) so I went with the 4S and I've just had my order confirmed in a PTS colour (Oak Green Metallic) for early next year. Looking forward to it arriving now. With the tax implications of being able to order through my business, it effectively costs half what a petrol Panamera would.
