I wish the magazine that does the lightning lap that test all the new brand new cars would do a KZread channel dedicated to their lightning lap challenges with all the new cars I did see the review on the 2019 Camaro ZL1 1LE whooping multi $100,000 cars on the track on track times but I want to see actual footage and real s*** of it you know

By the way - you really have to admire his way of doing reviews in general. Basically he's pulling massive one-takes and only cuts when it's absolute appropriate or necessary. Top that with no cheesy effects whatsoever and a mere 3 second intro. Really reminds me of the earlier and better days on YT.

I look at the C8 corvette as everything the new Supra should of been. Heck the FT1 concept art interior and the C8 interior look so much alike.

i don't love it but i like it. then again i really liked the new nsx so my opinion isn't the best. corvettes have always looked cheap and plastic to me. fast, but plastic.

31:44 - Joe nails the point. Both cars are awesome but you have to go with the car that connects with you and gives you an amazing smile!

Did you own a SS before the zl1? I owned 2 gen 5 v6 camaros, currently have a gen 6 1SS & honestly I wasn’t “blown away” in the HP jump

@@livinglife3230 No, I owned the regular ZL1 first and then I sold it and bought the ZL1 1LE. I have a buddy that has the new SS 1LE and it's badass. I notice the HP jump but it doesn't feel like its 195 more HP, so I hear you. If it was just that then I'm not sure it would be worth the premium, but I also get a Multimatic DSSV suspension and better aero front and back. It also breathes in more air up front.

You find the greatest twisty bit roads in Central Florida Joe which helps to show how these cars maneuver. Great Video and review. I caught the Corvette Blogger Article and then moved onto the video. Both rides....incredible handling and power! You're living the dream man and making awesome content which keeps us tuned in. I now have a new word...Frunk.

C8 oil leaker

Watched tons of videos ... 1st time I’ve felt compelled to subscribe to anyone. I have a 21 C8 on order (20 order was cancelled). This video almost singlehandedly convinced me to cancel and get a ZL1 1LE. I could feel his joy driving the Camaro with the 6 speed. I love the raw muscle and sound. I could use my GM employee discount money to go Lingenfelter. Have some time to decide now. Great video!

Nice video! I love mine too (well the regular ZL1 1LE) and share your enthusiasm when I daily it. I also had an RS like you. I loved that car too, but living in AZ I love being able to daily a ZL1 1LE.

The seriousness in your face when you went on throttle in that zL1 really tells the story.... It was all business behind that wheel ! Great review 💯

Bro I like your presentation, very informative and excitement. Those 2 vehicles are ones of my 2 favorites of all times, (Vette and Camaro) Most of my family members patronized chevy cars for the last sixty something years, from '55 Chevy wagon, (Dad's purchased) through 2010s Vettes and Camaros owned by 2 of his grand kids, my nephews Family of. Chevy in every generation. I like the way you describe the flow of air from the Corvette going into the front bumper grill air intake and goes through the reservoir and end on the side intake. These 2 vehicles are fascinating and stunning.

I've been mopar for so long , but I cannot deny the overall look and performance of the camaro zl1 1le . I've got goosebumps just watching this video lol. I might just have to go check out some of these packages at my local Chevy dealership

Excellent job with this review! I personally had the opportunity to take a Z51 C8 Corvette for a ride before making my purchase of my very own ZL1-1LE. I really like the C8 but until they put more power in it I believe I will continue to enjoy the ZL1-1LE.

Could tell how much more you genuinely liked the ZL1, at the end of the day when you're spending this kind of money on a car, the driving experience comes first over everything else. I'd take that ZL1 myself even though the C8 looks much nicer.

Wow Joe. I really enjoyed this review. Two great looking rides with the big power V8 engines. And what a beautiful day on the Raiti's Rides test track. For me I would go Camaro too. For a day at the track, ZL1. For the garage, I would always take the "company halo car". I owned more camaros than anything else, but in this case... The Vette!

Man these videos do so much for me. Takes me away from all my problems in life and I just enjoy how excited you get when you're driving these vehicles!! I really would love to do what you're doing LOL but what is your favorite car that you have driven? I'd love to see you drive the Camaro Resurrection by Hennessy. 1200 horsepower and 0-60 in 2.1 secs. It did a quarter mile in 9.59 at 149 mph!!! I'd love to see you drive that!!

Another great review! As a ZL1 owner, I’ve been waiting for this comparison. I’m assuming the 720hp rating for the ZL1 is estimated at the crank? I’ve got a modified engine on mine and you can only go so far on the stock supercharger.

@@RaitisRides the camaro's rear end is nice as heck! Super aggressive looking, the tail lights on the Camaro are pretty good. I don't mind them, it gives the Camaro a more sinister look from the back. But I also liked the original ones (2016-2018) the vette is not bad, But could of been better! Overall these are 2 nice rides from the classic bowtie brand!

I seen that same Camaro for the first time through a drive by in Greenville. Oh boy did I feel good when I saw the big daddy of Camaros.

I Have driven both as well. I dream to one day own a mid engine Corvette. But today I'm enjoying my ZL1 this Guy is correct thier is something about the ZL1 that is still raw and natural that the Corvette has glossed over. Hopefully the new Zo6 takes it back and in a big way.

When the Vette first came out I wasn't feeling it .Now i love it.

Owned a stock 2018 ZL1 and traded it in for a 2021 C8 and can say this review is spot on. The only point I’d like to make is price. This modded ZL1 is more powerful from a roll but costs more than a well equipped C8. There are C8 dual turbo and supercharger kits available to boost the performance beyond anything this Camaro can deliver and still be less expensive. From my money, I’d take a modded C8 over this modded ZL1. I believe it would be faster at the strip, track, street, cost less and resell for more.

I worked on the regular production hood inner and outer on that thing. Not just the design, but the metal formability to ensure it was manufacturable. Had to alter the original design slightly to reduce metal thinning where it folds over. It was tough, but we got it done.

I love Joe, but we are comparing the baddest Camaro package ever with a vanilla C8 as bad as they are. I know he would do a Z06 comparison if they were around at the time, but then again for the money the comparison works. As always great review and entertaining. Love this guy.

Awesome review as always. Makes me consider a Camaro ZL1 when the Mustang GT350 was the only thing living in my head. Decisions, decisions... Btw, is it true that the Camaro will be discontinued in a few more years?!!!! I would definitely bite the bullet for the Camaro if that's true.
