Good video! I have a friend who has a 2009 BMW 328i couple with the N52 engine and he's rocking over 265,000 miles on it! This past weekend he was in Tennessee doing The tail of the dragon and he had a blast! The N52 engine is the last natural inline BMW 6. I'm a manufacturor employee at a BMW Plant. I have leased a bunch of these 3 series cars in the past and the ones after this generation. The N52 engines cars are the hidden gems in the BMW used car market in reliability and ease of maintenance.

I love the n52 it’s a fantastic motor. Couple that with the 6 speed and it is a great car

Thinking of getting a E90 coupe as my first car always admired this car since it came out. I’d like to make it my first project car not going to be a daily driver though since I’ll be at work all the time appreciate the content

The coupe is an E92

3 series are the most reliable bmw’s on your next schedule maintenance according to your mileage have them change all the coolant hoses and the electric water pump

I’d like to get your opinion on the N51 (SULEV) vs the N52 (non-SULEV) models for the 328i. Which is better? I hear the SULEV’s have a 15 year/150K mile factory warranty. But, if warranty runs out, anything to worry about (major costs or repairs) on those SULEV models?

n51 is a lot more expensive to repair than the N52 due to specialized parts, e.g Fuel pump/tank is an enclosed system so if it breaks you have to replace the whole tank. If you can get a 2013 model n51 (e92) and a decently low miles - you'll still have at least till 2026 of warranty fun. Make sure you are in a SULEV state.
