she was starving. mother's milk wasn't enough nutrition to sustain her. it may have satisfied the sucking urge but that's it.

Shes appears so happy and energetic with a full belly. Hopefully this will become a regular site instead of the poor dear foraging for literal crumbs because she is so hungry. Tina just takes all that hard work away from her baby. I never saw another monkey do this to her baby. Its especially sad because Teeny doesnt even have access to Tina's milk bar.

Isn't she beautiful? I'm so happy to see her filling out finally. I was so afraid this baby wasn't gonna make it. Seeing her playful brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for helping her and caring for all of them.

Martha is putting herself in Arroz’s line of sight because she knows he carries sweet potatoes with him and if he wants to feed another monkey she expects to get her share as well. Given Martha has lost her last two babies (I think), she is probably desperate for things to go better this time.

I bet she's finally feeling playful because it's the first time she's had a full tummy and not felt the nagging call of food.

The progress this brave lil girl has made in a matter of weeks since Arroz put his save Teeny plan into action is amazing.. i love watching her cute little runs..but now she has a bit of weight on her i think she has a bit of swagger in her walk..keeps running away from Tina too as if to say no you're not having my food !!.. well done Arroz and well done Teeny..she hung in there and was determined to make it.. in a way and i know this sounds awful but i hope Tina's baby is stillborn so another poor little bugger has got to go through what Teeny and indeed Tiny did..bless you Arroz for your support of this girl who has such heart and well done Teeny for never giving up the fight !!! Still Life: yeah, they’re planning a coup to ambush and kidnap the cute babies like Teeny and whisk them back to their homes in North Hollywood and Glendale, where the stolen babies will be forced to endure big cuddly hugs and endless little kisses in between a bubble bath or two. I'd love to snuggle her too, the struggle is real! But more seriously, love or hate Tina I'm glad she keeps an eye on Teeny. If ever a baby was at risk of being monkeynapped there in Hong Kong, it would be her.

@charlene jordan you have no idea how many foreign tourists I’ve seen try to hold wild baby monkeys. This is why I mentioned it. It’s important for people to know.

Ooo I hope Tina is not pregnant again. She is a good mom in all the areas except the food pouch stealing and the fact that she doesn't produce milk. It's sad that some of the other females are fixed so they cant have babies and Tina and Gypsy do. Although Tina's Teeny is without a doubt the cutest monkey I've ever seen. But I wouldn't want to see another baby go through it

KittyPawDoll Unfortunately, without a doubt, her next baby WILL go through the same thing. She simply can’t control it. I believe she truly cares for her children but her low-ranking, wanting to eat, neurotic self takes over her brain at the thought of food, over and above the survival of her infant.😔

Im so happy to see her eating all of the time. Such a sweet adorable baby.

That’s fantastic seeing her climb. Her lil face looks happier. Go teeny you have a big fan club routing for you. I am so happy for her. She is running around and not constantly picking up crumbs from the road. She is exploring now. It really must be so hard to refrain from cuddling her in those earlier bad days I would have wanted to scoop her up and bring her home. Amazing job. Thank you Arroz ❤️💕❤️💕

Monkeys don’t smile, Gracie. I’m not sure how her face could look “happier.” Do you mean her full pouches make her seem happier? Also, wild monkeys do not enjoy “human cuddling” she isn’t a teddy bear. I’m sure you are probably unable to make this a reality, but please remember that monkeys are wild animals who exist not to entertain humans. 😔

Still Life I just thought she looked happier. Maybe it’s just me and I would never ever condone picking her or any other wild animal just to cuddle her. I would bring them to a vet if I found an injured animal. It’s like when you see a new chubby baby cheeks you just want to touch them. I wasn’t saying you should pick them up and you definitely should never have them as pets. Maybe my comment sounded a bit unintelligent but it’s just a comment. 😊❤️

Would even grab Teeny to stop her from getting any scraps. And Arroz would give them to Tina even AFTER she was seen raiding Teeny's pouches. That just reinforces the behavior.

What a joy it was to watch these 2 videos! Not only is she looking healthier, but she's beginning to assert her independence from her mum...very encouraging. Meanwhile, Martha wants to know where you're hiding the goodies.

Lol, Martha is great at that. It's so great seeing her play & jump in the trees. Beautiful to see.

Many times I wanted to scoop her up and give her a bottle. I'm so glad she has a warrior spirit.

Earlene Peterson; wow, what an interesting name you have! I’ve never heard this version from the “”lene” style names. As I’m a Charlene myself, born on my grandfathers birthday and he was a Charles, as is my father.

It is so awesome to see Teeny doing so well finally! Maybe next on her little “to-do” list could be finding a friend or two to play with! “Team work is dream work”!!

You realize her ranking isn’t going to change and she’ll have it tough forever especially being malformed. Poor animal. They “saved” her, but at what cost?

You did an absolutely wonderful thing Arroz by letting the feeders know about Teeny’s situation. It really does seem to be helping her and she is starting to develop more normally. She also has very obviously put in some weight, (Even with Tina stealing her food!). I remember just a month or so ago she looked like a big head with a skinny little body. She looks to have balanced out some what. I wish all the VO’s out there cared like you do.

So glad she is thriving. Looks like they have their winter coats on. The other little ones look like they are 3-4x bigger than her, I know she is younger but she truly lives up to her name in comparison to the others. Glad her arm is healed like new. All is right as rain.

That's the huge irony, isn't it? Amazed she survived her mom but at the same time Teeny couldn't have survived without her. Tina's protectiveness is second to none, she's quick to remove Teeny from potential danger, and she also provides comfort and nurturing whereas some moms are terrible at this. Tina has a mix of the best and worst mothering characteristics.

She probably will never totally recover and is doomed to suffer her entire life because humans wouldn’t allow her to fade.

Watching her run, it appears that either her left leg is longer than her right, or she doesn't fully extend her right leg. I run this way, too, because one leg is shorter! And I see that when sitting, she turns out the foot on her longer leg, just as I do. Anybody know whether her right leg is shorter or just not extended fully?

She is likely permanently damaged inside and out from not getting proper nutrition but also being born so weak. It’s unfortunate humans felt the need to step in instead of allowing nature to take its course. She will likely be the lowest ranking and have to fight and suffer her whole life.

Arroz! You should hire a company to make a life-sized stuffed Teeny doll and sell it! I would LOVE to have one! Im sure other fans would love to hold that little darling too! And since we can't we COULD hold a stuffed replica! Think about it!

My little teeny she’s going to make it after all… She has put on some weight but that’s all right she’s a lot of catching up to do… OK to change the story right quick people in Cambodia are having a monkeys cull. And it is a sad situation putting mothers and babies together trapping on the big cages I can’t hardly stand it… For that😰

It’s population control. They don’t have sterilization programs. You’re welcome to start a foundation to sterilize the LTMacaques in Cambodia.

Again 8:24 and so on and so forth, she eats anything from anywhere Arroz, yes she still will look for the smallest crumb on the ground this is what she does and this is why she is healthy. She may be the next Sweetpea she is getting wider than she is tall at this point.

It did look like that was going through her mind! Teeny looked a little afraid for a split second before she realized they meant no harm to her. I half expected Skimpy to do that adorable thing older girls do where they want to protect a baby so they hover over it to the point the baby can hardly move. For some reason I think that's really cute, it's like those girls take their babysitting responsibility very seriously.

She has figured out if I stay away from mom I can keep, and eat my food.
