Sure is! I read once that in old movies, they used to record someone punching a slab of meat to make a punch sound. But it sure wouldn't have that "smack" sound. :)
Always a love hate relationship with this game. I loved the visuals and comic book feel plus the characters. But I could never get far lol. Spider Man games have come a long way though.

I played this yesterday and I was so sure that it was two player but it's one player

I'm an 80's kid, so I still have some comics from back in the day. X-Men, Swamp Tning, those kinds. I wonder if I have Spidey in the group...

I loved this game. The only way I could actually get far in it was to cheat and with save states. One trick I always liked to do was if you line up two enemies, you can web them both and knock them out. You can do that with the first boss fight and I believe you get an extra life.
